I have both phones the iphone and gphone. Currently I need to understand the Gphone a bit. I'm still liking my iphone but need time to review the Gphone. There is a cool ass app on the Gphone where you can scan bar codes and fine the lowest price nearby. That's fuckin awesome.

Android is an OS not a phone. Therefore every carrier (yes including AT&T) can use Android. Plus it is Open Source.

They wont. You should be asking when you can download it to your phone. I dont think any of the carriers will be using it because they are corrupt and not free thinkers. If you interested you should check on the internet every few months. I cant wait till i can download it.

yes. but it just depends on the phone to support it. if the phone is gsm, it'll be att/tmo. if it's cdma, it'll be sprint/verizon. the HTC dream/neon have been announced as CDMA, hopefully they will be verizon. =]

HTC Dream is a GSM phone first & coming to T-Mobile in late fall. Launching along with their 3G network roll out.

I am currently waiting for a touch screen gPhone to come out soon. If so, hopefully Verizon will adopt it (as it would help keep me in their network).

I honestly dont think Verizon will have anything like this anytime soon. Most phone makers are looking for something that they can sell not only here, but the rest of the world. Verizon uses runs their network different than At&t, T Mobile, or the rest of the world does. As far as i know, T Mobile is supposed to be an exclusive to this software when it comes out..and they're swiching to 3g by the end of summer.
