How old are you, don't answer that was just a statement, you seem very mature, and I cam see you making more videos in years to come, you talk like one of the olderature DIY'ers on YouTube, I'm am not saying it's a bad thing, I just wanted to say I really enjoyed this video:)
@htagohc323 U can use candle wax but normally you will use a special sealing wax. It is much harder and melts at a higher temperature than candle wax.
light up a candle first. then, get an old spoon. a metal one. put the red crayon on the spoon and put the spoon just on top of the fire of the lighted candle. then spread the melted crayon. done.
you are a freaking genius mate. I've been looking for a gimmick to use for my presskit to get an A & R rep's attentions. I now have my idea. Go vampyre gothic style. Wax seal, burnt parchment and an old timey envelope. I might go for a gold seal tho, since I'm known as 'MC Alchemy'. lol.
Good Job on the video, very good pronounciation and good instruction. you should be a art teacher. im just starting this now so i hope it turns out good. keep up the good work.
Thank-you for the very nice video. You have gone into nice detail as to number of drops and timing. I'm impressed and now have the confidence to try for myself. Thanks again, Josh, with every good wish,
1. Candlewax works, but you get better results with actual sealing-wax.
2. Lick the base of your seal or dip it in water before stamping. If you stamp with a 'dry' seal, there's a chance of the wax sticking to seal. Moistening it first prevents the wax from sticking to the seal. You do NOT want this to happen - it's a real pain to scrape the hardened wax off the bottom of your seal once this happens!
You could, but the effect is different. Sealing-wax is specially made to melt fast and dry brittle. Candlewax don't do that. If you try, the wax just seeps through the paper. Sealing-wax does too, but not as badly. Ordinary candle-wax will look nice, but it can stain the paper more badly, ruining any pretty writing you have on the other side of the paper.
aww soo adorable :D Good job on explaining btw :D

Hey Josh. Very nice video. A few tips, though:
Otherwise, great video! Very very well done.
