I have watched this a billion times, and it is so deliciously ironic and tragic. I love it, especially that Odette's "final" thoughts were about not only loosing her lover, but loosing her oldest and dearest friend. It's so sad, yet so briliant. Bravo!

This is cool, but in an ironic, creepy, I never would have thought of that way. Hillary Duff's "Fly" was/is intended to be an uplifting song, but in this instence it is synonomous with death. Also the female vocal in the song brings up the idea that maybe Odette decided to kill herself after seeing Derek, her only chance at freedom, pledge his love to another because Odette would rather be free in death than continue to live as a prisoner. It is dark and bittersweet, and very cool!
