I'm an adult with a very small head (i buy my hats and caps in toddler's sizes!) so whenever I have a cold, I get ear problems too. Nose and ear tubes are so close and so small that no matter how well I blow my nose, somethings gets stuck up there.After a particularly bad case of otitis, my doctor suggested I should use a similar nasal aspirator. I must say it's great. It solved my problem. My one has a kind of small sponge that absorbs the mucus.

For everyone that's wondering.. The Boogers do not go in your mouth they go into the long compartment, it just uses your own pressure to suck out the boogers, but you never suck anything in.

@pixieferrie no it doesn't go in your mouth. there's a filter to prevent any boogers from getting in your mouth

I heard you have to be sure to point it to the SIDE of the nostril, not straight back. That keeps the suction from getting too strong and possibly damaging their sinuses.
