How you can see the wheels are spinned to simulate carrier landing. It is interesting to speculate as to what direction. I would vote for clockwise, like the plane is going to move back, looks like in this case the torques to the rotating components would be similar to the real ones.

@bujoun76 just google Sukhoi T-50 :) so there is a lot of chances not to win for F-35. after the first flight of T-50, the head of development of F-35 were resigned, and F-35 were delayed for 2 years. at least. It should mean something :)
