How can people be so critical? I'm certain that a lot of these commenters live negative sad lives, lets see them have their lives broadcast for the world to see. I admire the Duggars and commend them for their genuinity in their faith and the joy they have for life. You can tell they're hard workers and provide for each and every one of their children. I actually kinda wish I wasa Duggar child :)

@lilmissrom I think they practice NFP. There is no way with the way Jim Bob and Michelle look at each other that they don't have a hot time in the bedroom. A woman is fertile only a day or so out of each month so I'm sure they lay off during fertile times if they aren't actively looking to conceive. I love this family. They all love each other and thats so rare these days.

@Holscox82 They don't work that hard when so many help out. They only do 3 hours of schoolwork a day compared to 6 for regular people. They take trips all the time as well. I think they have it made. Jim Bob doesn't really work either. He just collects money from his rental properties and equipment rentals and the millions that TLC now pays him. I heard he made 5 million last year from TLC.

I think it's nice for them to have as many babies as they can handle, if they love children. It think it's great for them. But I hate it when people say this is for everyone, even those who do not WANT to have more children, or will put themselves (or new children) in danger medically if they chose to.

@julietsierra22 She doesn't. She says children are a blessing from God and we should let God guide us to how many children we can have, enjoy the blessing, whether it is one or many children. You ever stop and think that Jim Bob's sister only had one because her and her husband believe like Jim Bob and Michelle? That "let God guide you" means "don't use birth control, don't use fertility drugs".
