Uh I'm sorry know-nothing but even though ska has it's roots in reggae the two are quite different. Generally reggae is much slower and uses the keyboard instead of the horns but reggae can also have horns. Also sometimes has a whole vocal section. Ska is much faster and has a totally different feel to it. Yes a bigger horn section and the lyrics are much more rhythmical than melodic, as opposed to reggae.

Pretty much the same styles of guitar but TOTALLY different feel and wayy different.
