let me tell you guys something about honda, they suck, suspension sucks dick, brakes suck dick, frame sucks dick, interior sucks dick, good audio system, o yeah the engine and trans suck the most dick
If you look at where the driver wheel intrudes into the well, the main injuries are left leg injuries from a frontal crash according to the gov't Crash Test findings. It looks like the head also hits the pillar but I could be wrong. Note that any smaller car/SUV will have less metal to stop damage underneath or the injuries to a driver primarily.
this CRV saved my life yesterday. we had a rollover at 70 mph and slide across all 3 lanes of I-70 on our roof until finally flipping right side up on the shoulder
At 0:30, it looks as if the dummy's head hits the pillar between the drivers doors. For being a "best pick" there sure is a lot of dummy movement. Then again Honda vehicles are somewhat overrated and definitely overpriced.
@ToyotaCorolla, my brother had a 1999 Honda CR-V, he had a rollover into a soybean field, and it rolled at least twice the sheriff said ( he didn't even get a ticket). He had NO scratches or any injuries. Nothing happened to things in his car like his iPod Touch. So NO hating on Honda when Toyota's have sudden acceleration issues, braking issues, and fishtailing issues. THUMBS UP FOR HONDA AND MY MOM WHO HAS A HONDA PILOT AND BOUGHT AN OLD HONDA PILOT FOR OUR CONDO IN CA. ALSO!!!!!
@dreameratw1 when you look at who drives TOYotas, i really could care less that the camry barely outsells the accord, especially since toyota sells many of its cars to rental car companies, unlike honda
I crashed today in one of these going 100 km, got cut off and smashed into a gaurd rail dead on, dont have a scratch on me (though slightly concussed). airbags deployed right on time, and my seatbelt held firm. If I was driving something else I might be dead.
thats prolly cuz she doesn't know how to drive... like coming to a complete stop when you shift it from reverse to drive.. no transmission gives out at 72k unless the driver is a complete moron.
@ToyotaforCorolla Well, Honda and Toyota have one thing in common: they both have generic styling. And explain then, how Toyota is so "awesome" now since their luxury brand Lexus and their GX is having fishtailing issues as well as Toyota's "awesome" sudden accelerating cars. Nissan/Infinit would own Honda/Toyota anyday.
These are great cars, mine was recently stolen by gang member kids, they crashed against a police car and totaled it, the officer had to go to the hospital but none of the 4 punks had a single scratch on them... i miss my little white honda =(

I was in the passenger seat of a 2003 CR-V when some dolt in an Accord smashed into the side of the car not three feet from my face at 20 mph.
I was completely fine.
