I think my walk with Christ is improving everyday, Going to Church hearing music like this and being around people with positive attitudes had changed my life tremendously It hurts to know theres so many people in the world that don't know Christ, but he is amazing and I am so thankful for the investment people made in my life to get me to where I am now. My mother has just got finished with a surgery to remove a lump on her breast. In doing further study we found out that the lump was not cancerous. This has been a true blessing for me and my family and all i could say when everything was done was GLORY TO GOD FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The key there, is the word Earthly. I don't pray for earthly matters! I pray for matters of the spirit. And I know that my God is real, and powerful. Because He warns me. Whenever something is wrong, I feel something. You should too. Because He's in all of us. Believer or not.

It's hard when you lead worship for your youth group to not fall on your knees and be broken and cry out to God while worshiping him. I've seen what it does to people when they here songs like these and its awesome seeing that and I thank God and God alone for giving these guys the ability to write songs like this one.

@ndzoko You have to understand that when God says something is punishable by death, He means the second death, or being cast into hell. Everyone is going to die once (the death of the flesh), but depending on if you believe in God and His Word, you will either "die" once again, or go to heaven to live with Him for eternity.

So those "petty" transgressions are still subject to the law of God and the judgement of God. The reason why God ordered the "murder" (in this case, seemingly genocide) is because the people were corrupt. Saved July, 2010. I will always remember the moment, singing "All I Have Is Christ" at a youth conference. Halfway through I felt this weight pushing me to the ground. I disagree completely. No, praying isn't supposed to be for passing an exam or winning a game; those things are not important. Now, praying to survive cancer, on the other hand..absolutely affective, if that is God's plan for you to survive. If not, then He will take you. And that is not horrible,as you will most likely say.it's actually rather amazing.I don't know about you,but I would much rather be singing with my Father in heaven than in than in this world, plagued with sin.

I have yet to have my spiritule experiance with the lord but he has helped me in my life. he kept my family together through the harde times. I was even about running away once when i was 9 but the lord showed me that things make us stronger in the difficult times
now god has brought a new gift to my family. I'm going to be a aunt! Now i will make sure to help my brother in his life with his wife & to be born child. so they dont have to suffer.

It's hard when you lead worship for your youth group to not fall on your knees and be broken and cry out to God while worshiping him. I've seen what it does to people when they here songs like these and its awesome seeing that and I thank God and God alone for giving these guys the ability to write songs like this one.

So it seems a little messed up for thousands of babies to die, or i spose something closer to us, the tragedy of 9/11. But rather than looking at the scope of just that disaster, God has a view of eternity. Just because we can't see the good in what occurred, doesn't mean that good isn't happening since our perspective is so limited.

For what good were 6 million jews murdered in WW 2 ? For what good did 100,000 INNOCENT children perish in Haiti ? And another 100,000 INNOCENT children in the great tsunami ? Did those things happen because we were given the power of choice ?

@ndzoko Glory to God because He has come to save us from our sins. btw, there is such a thing as iniquity. From what you've posted, it seems that you value the life of others, I love that and I think that's great! But how could you even think of praying that someone's loved ones are taken away? And yes, many died in the Old Testiment because of punishment of sin, but God had given them a way to be saved didn't he? He gives us a choice to follow him or not. Upset? Ask Him for answers in prayer.

You seem to agree that those petty transgressions(E.G.working on the sabbath) deserve the dead-penalty. Are you ? He said explicitly that the law(the O.T.) remains valid till the end of time.(not exactly in those words).

@ndzoko You have to understand that when God says something is punishable by death, He means the second death, or being cast into hell. Everyone is going to die once (the death of the flesh), but depending on if you believe in God and His Word, you will either "die" once again, or go to heaven to live with Him for eternity.

@ndzoko so i'm guessing you know that the "wages of sin is death" (Romans 6:23), meaning that all of us are subject to death because we are all under sin
So those "petty" transgressions are still subject to the law of God and the judgement of God. The reason why God ordered the "murder" (in this case, seemingly genocide) is because the people were corrupt. If you look at the destruction of Sodom or Jericho, God DOES save the ones he deems righteous from destruction

if you think a little further, not all souls are to be saved. And a God that is omnipotent would know what souls are to be saved.

Saved July, 2010. I will always remember the moment, singing "All I Have Is Christ" at a youth conference. Halfway through I felt this weight pushing me to the ground. I went outside and fell on my face to God and confessed that I couldn't try and please him alone without Christ. Ever since then my life has been a blessing from God. Glory to Him Alone forever!

@tallliza The exodus verses has nothing to do with death, and the proverb is not telling you to kill the man either ^^'' And all of those verses are from the old testiment, the laws to the Isrealites. The culture, the world was nothing like today. And death is the punishment for sin. Are you saying that it's wrong for the guilty to be punished? God is just and holy, everyone is judged under him. I should be killed, if not for Jesus :) ♥& there's not even verses to back up all of what you said ;)

Because of God's love ♥ God is merciful, and he gives us a whole lifetime of chances, because he has said that he doesn't want us to face the just punisment. And I may be a 'silly nut', but you're overlooking everything about God's love and the reasons for all his commandments, and everything in the new testiment ^^'' I'm only a 14 yr old girl, but I know and love my God ♥ Nothing you say, no matter how you twist my words around, will make me think that my holy, awesome, all-powerful, loving, God is even the tinist bit evil :)
