I'm looking for game benchmarks but I found only call of pripyat. My vga is asus gtx470 and I'm doing some overklocking and it will be good to test it with more benchmarks.
Tweaking on memory even the slightest bit ended up in the card clocking down real fast when stressed (NV safe sentinel kicks in). The GPU itself with some extra voltage could be taken from roughly 600 MHz towards ~775 MHz, and that's a very decent 175 MHz overclock. Anything higher would either create instability after a while or again that NV SAFE sentinel kicking in and downclocking the card to 400 MHz.
@julianpropaMD83 I'm not sure, have a look at some videos on youtube I'm sure someone will have that CPU and the 570, check their performance and see if you can find the same CPU with a 470, if not look at some reviews and compare teh stock scores and add a few points onto the 470 score.
@DProductions2011 Have you tried reinstalling your drivers using driver sweeper to clean them out then install the newest driver? If not try and contact your manufacturer as they may be able to replace it and I think (maybe wrong) that they have stopped producing those cards now so if they where to give you a replacement they would have to give you something of the same performance which maybe a gtx 470/460. If not then upgrade when you can.
@DProductions2011 I'm not sure if it would be worth it for you. it all depends on what you do? If all of the games you play run smooth then I would recommend waiting until your card starts to not perform well in games, but if you want an upgrade for the DX11, etc... Then the GTX 470 is a great card in my opinion, if you have the extra money for the GTX 570/580 go for that, if you can wait till they drop then wait. It all depends on what you use your pc for.
@bigfroggy3000 Set your fan manually the auto fan settings suck when you overclock the temps get too high for auto fan setting to compensate. I run my 470's at 740 MHZ core linked shader with no voltage change with fan's manually set at 75% and temps stay below 85C when gaming which is well below the 105C limit of the card. Setting the fan higher will yield lower temps but it's really loud.
A+ for presentation and music. I usually don't like to view slideshows on YouTube when I'm searching for videos, but you made this one very watchable.
The ending needs a bit of work, sudden, but besides that well done mate
Nice. The increase of the clocks gives a good 19% to 23% faster across all the games. Dawn of War 2 give the same scores maybe becuse its CPU dependant. Tell me the max temps you saw in your GPU, fan speed for that specific temp, room and PC case temps. If you can of course. Enjoy your GTX 470. Its more card than the majority of people think. Specialy the ATI fans.
to anyone considering a gtx 470 or 480 dont do it, get yourselfs a gtx460 sli setup, ebuyer item number 232853, £320 for two of them and you get 30k on 3d vantage, those cards are really quiet and very overclockable, got mine running at 1087/915/2150
@gixxerich The 470 is a very good card, also if you get 2 GTX 460's then you cannot add another later down the line too increase performance where as with a 470 you can add another 2. Also it depends on people budgets, they may not have £320 to splash out on a GPU, I paid £250 for my 470 and that is a lot of money for a GPU in my opinion, but it preforms very good.
i want to ask you... can you do benchmarks on assassins creed 1/2 and modern warfare? and how big is difference between one gtx 470 and two gtx 470 ( SLI ) ( FPS difference please...) and can you tip a FPS with nvidia 3d vision... thank you...
@4thdimenze There is no benchmarks built into Assassins Creed 1/2 or Call of Duty, I only have 1 470 so I wouldn't know the improvement and I don't have 3d so i cant help
@WowVideosbyVessel It depends on the game, if it uses more GPU than CPU you might not loose much, but if the game uses more CPU than GPU then probably quite a bit.
I like! Quality video man, well thought out good stuff. can't wait to get my Asus GTX 470 tomorrow, then under water next month, would really like 800mhz core but will take 900:D
Hey what temperatures do you get (overclocked & stock) in Idle and load? Maybe you can make a comparison video of the temperature difference between stock and oc? I really like your videos :)
My gtx 470 is ruuing at 750 core, linked shader, stock voltage and stock memory, and it has not crashed once!

@nunoleite46 Every card is different and can be clocked to different speeds, yours might not be able to be clocked that high.

MrBigDicked 6 months ago
@MrBigDicked Just keep raising it by a couple at a time until the fps in a game stops going up or drops.

are the OCed settings with stock voltage?
Valcgo 1 year ago
@Valcgo No, the overclocked settings where done with a voltage of 1037mV
RonnieB5555 1 year ago
@Valcgo oh ok, that what my voltage is set at too. i was just curious, thanks.

@bigfroggy3000 Every card has a limit, you just have to start from stock and go until it stops crashing or gets too hot.
