So much of Jack's work was overshadowed by Oz. He has an almost Harry Langdon style in some of his silent reactions here. One of the best musical comedy stars of his day.

For quite some time, I don't know why this song kept coming into my head. I took the chance to see if this scene was on YT. I knew the male singer Jack Haley sang it but did not know the name of the actress. So, I did a search and discovered the girl was Phyllis Brooks. Nothing really came up on YT using the name of the song "Alone With You" during this era. When I entered her name, then the song finally appeared. Thank you JackHaleyFan for uploading this scene. It is a timeless treasure.
