Das Problem bei der Rationalisierung und "vereinfachung" des Alltags ist, dass der Mensch seine Fähigkeiten und Sinne verliert. Es gleicht einer Art "evolutionären Selbstverstümmelung" (Mein Wort!^^) Dali hat paar gute Bilder zu dem Thema gemalt.

Gutes und sinnvolles Video. Auch ein Lob an Trend Violent, für den gelungenen Sound.

well done, i take it u computerized the animation fbf? Personally i dont think, unless there is a mass change in consciousness, humankind will ever be able to use machines in a sustainable fashion. Grandma can now use less energy and pick apples faster, a larger quota of apples can be picked and therefore more trees can be grown leading to industrial farming and the desecration of the natural biosphere. Eventually leading to more machines and the use of more limited and polluting resources.

If you say so. I think I see some Luddite philosophy in this video and criticism of technology. You should read Kurt Vonnegut's "Man Without A Country". It has some of the same ideas in it!

you´re right in some point. but it´s not really luddite philosophy. i still see most of mankinds chances in advanced technology. and when you talk about vonnegut, then mostly in renewable energy sources. the difference that i make to vonnegut´s argument is that i see the problem not in sovereign states. more in profit oriented international companies behaving like countries but without responsibility to the people.

music always. animation mostly, but sometimes stop motion photography too. it´s harder and needs much more time and precision than just filming and cutting, but i simply don´t have the money to offer a professional video camera. and now i´m used to it and try to make my expression with as much knowledge and as little hardware as possible.

it´s meant a little bit ironic. the question i ask you as viewer/recepient is where someone should set the (his personal) border in optimizing workflows. could it be that mankind brings industrial optimized standards into too many and too personal parts of ourself? if you want to know how it looks when i ask a similar question about commercial standards in architecture, you should watch "...or how i stopped worrying and loving the bomb" too. i wish you a nice weekend!
