I was just watching the Miami Vice movie on TV, you know the one from a few years ago. Why would they run that movie? Does the cable company think that they can fool us into thinking that it was just produced? Oh wait, maybe some people would still find it interesting, even it they saw it in a theatre. Oh yeah, that makes sense. Hmmm, maybe The Auto Channel should also show videos about automobiles from different time periods because some people would still find it interesting...ya think?
Okay, gotcha. There is a large group of people (industry & fans) that are interested in design issues. TACH not only has consumer info, but plenty of industry related material. What makes this piece interesting is that you have BMW's former and present design chiefs together. And since BMW is one of the leading car makers we think it has great significance. In all of our 1,100+ videos on YouTube you'll find a great cross section of auto-topics and time periods. We don't only post chronologically
This video must be several years old as they are discussing the facelift of the previous model. Interesting though, because these cosmetics undid some of the controversial "Bangle-style" design. It was one of those facelifts which made a the car look much leaner and elegant with just a few subtle re-touches.
Together with Mercedes and VWgroup BMW build the best cars in the world....they can build super 5L cars.
