I've watched this speech from other sources (such as CSPAN). Fox didn't edit out applause, there just was very little applause. Maybe our troops are just catchign on faster.

Seriously Fox has to pay for air time, they have to pay for the license, they have to pay copyrights, they have to pay to be there to film it, and it's not cheap. Would you rather had Fox edit out Obama and just make an applause? @NerdForMIT It's not that they edited the video, they dropped out about 10 seconds of audio. At about the 30 second mark, there is a large amount (10 seconds) of applause but, in the fox version, the audio is removed making it look like Obama is standing there in silence.

I think the 'reasoning' behind removing 10 seconds of applause would be to give the impression the audience wasn't supportive of the speech. Why don't you post the ENTIRE video of the Fox News version? The last 8 seconds of the Fox News version show Obama continuing his speech, but there is no audio. Fox must have erased Obama speaking, too! More likely, there is a malfunction with the audio, not nefarious editing. Way to be just as fair & balanced as you claim Fox isn't!
