Just because Gabe's screaming now, has big ass gauges, tattoes doesn't make him or Black Tide emo. In my opinion they don't sound like every mainstream band, they sound like a more matured Black Tide. Just sayin :/

The recordings were all done when he was 14. some of them when he was 12.

(He said so on a radio interview they did on the 16th.)

His range just changed when his voice did.

i like how he sounds either way live or on the album he has an amazing voice for a 16 year old even when he was 13 && had his "Child" voice still...What's killing Black Tide && making them fade away is their new sound && Gabriel's new look. After Warped Tour he changed so much started listening to all these emo bands && now he's trying to be like them instead of him self They need to go back to being a METAL band && not this new emo shit they got going on.

Nah, I'm just saying that they were cool when they sang like this. Even when his voice broke.. he still sang really good. Not as good as when he sang on the album, but it was still cool. I still haven't lost hope on them.. I'll buy the second album. The only thing that I don't like is that they have released like a crap load of shirts and only one album. And the musical direction they are going to.

Oh my god! I just love this vid.! Spent the time from Jan. 1987 incl. Jan. 1988 in Claremore, OK and Tulsa, OK (as an Exchange-Student). Am one of the greatest KMOD-Fans on Earth. The guys from "Black Tide" were not even born back then ;-) - but they rock like hell :-)
