ICE entertainment on Emirates was fantastic! I flew Emirates to Bangladesh 5 months ago and i was amazed with this welcome video! And I loved the Welcome video to Dubai, it really wanna make me go to Dubai rather than Bangladesh!

Best in-flight entertainment system by far is the ICE from Emirates....top of the industry I've heard. The food was good and abundant.....we were so well served. The main downside to Emirates were the cabin seats, which were small and the cabin was cramped and hard to move. It was very hard to sleep in those narrow seats.

@989any Don't hold your breath. The in-flight experience is a world away from their reputation. I made a complaint and 12 months later they still claim to be "investigating" it and there has been no apology. The new style economy seats that they've rolled out across the fleet are really uncomfortable and the footrests have been removed which gives many passengers leg pain. Also there are 10 seats per row, other airlines only have 9 = more spacious.

@sdhumieres In my case it was a 777-300ER on all flight legs, between Dubai and the UK. It's now 15 months and still no response. I have told everyone about my experience with Emirates.

@deckens123 Yes, it's a company called AeroMobile that provides the service, it is charged at a higher rate than your normal call so check with your phone company what the charges are as the cabin crew didn't know about the costs when I asked.

I'm just back from HGK to CDG via DXB of course. Amazing experience with Emirates A380 !! Verry happy for the new on bord video : so different than oter companies and so rythmic, fluid and nice mucis too. Enjoyed to have possiblity to see it again in english and arabic version. Thanks too for the new safety video.

We shot it on a digital data camera called RED at a resolution of 4K then we processed the CGI at 2K which is slightly higher than HD. We used a combination of Maya, Flame and After effects to finish it in post.

@sharjawi100 I wish they were consistent but some flights I've been on are great whilst others are simply rubbish with rude and neglectful cabin crew. They need to concentrate on the quality of their cabin staff because all other aspects of Emirates are great.

@wannabemedic sometimes i feel they neglect their economy class passengers compared to other airlines but i really loved their food and the amenities they provided on board despite poor customer service, some of their ground crew in the check in desks in Terminal 3 are mean :( but I appreciate the locals who were part of the crew they were all the time smiling
