The problem is: More people likes to talk about tehcnique or theory and critize (read:saying bad things), but in so many part they just forget what in music called: Music Esthetic! When a music sounds beautiful, no matter what is the difficulty levels, then theory and technique is no longer important! Why? The essential of music is, in the end, music should be Enjoyabled, not to be asked "how hard and how good is the technique!

I don't see what the problem is, I liked the playing - I just didn't LEARN anything. Plus you guys are all piano players yourselves (probably) so your more critical with other piano players than a none piano player would be

That piano is enough to make the elephant want to take his tusks back - on second thought it looks as if he did. This person needs many more years of experience and development before stepping out and offering to "teach" anything - very amateur/beginner technique.

Well, OK, maybe it's a silly video for expert village, I guess, but really, the piano she's playing on is awful. For all we know what she's doing would sound fine on a piano that was, well, a piano.

So you decided to play the movement 1 of sonatina 1 on opus 36 of Muzio Clementi. You're butchering it. I'm only 15 but even I can tell that you have little tonal contral of the piece and your fingers are much too curved, therefore I can tell you are exerting more energy than you need for playing these passages. WARNING: DO NOT FOLLOW HER EXAMPLE, this video demonstrate exactly what not to do.

'Expert' Village maybe need to check their quality control. What are we supposed to be learning from this video exactly? How to lose tempo, play unevenly and inaccurately and sway to the music in an artistic manner? Sorry, but if this had been from an 'amateur' playing their piece then fine, but to tout this as an Advanced Piano Demonstration is APPALLING. For better advice check out Piano Technique:The Craft of Piano Playing DVD Demo by jocahdj.

By the way, the reason you give for not checking out some decent piano technique is slightly odd, but notwithstanding the fact that I have a wife and child, where I live being gay is nothing to be ashamed of, and believe it or not isn't even a crime.
