it's undoubtedly a good thing. bringing all 3 games to a single system, on one disc, could spawn a new wave of metroid fans. there aren't enough people who know how good metroid is.

They aren't remakes. They're practically the same game with Wii controls and a higher screen resolution. It's highly unlikely there will be any changes to the core game. If they were considering taking Metroid online for the Wii, they'd just make a new Metroid like they have on the DS.
