There is one flaw to playing this game online, and that is that the other player can fix their deck so that way they can just lay out their cards and decide which card to draw and switch any card with another in their deck or anywhere else :(

@winsomelosesome1000 no not possible cuz when playing online with someone or vs cpu you make the deck. register you cards then the computer tells you what to draw so if you scan a card that is not meant to be in your hand it doesn't play it. That's how the game prevents cheating.

I so want to get this game, and to everyone who says Yu-Gi-Oh pwns or w/e, sure it might look allot like Yu-Gi-Oh, I agree on that :) BUT these lads made cooler and better looking monsters and realised them into a game, I can't compare it with Yu-Gi-Oh, I would say this is kind of like Magic the Gathering, only without the coloured mana and colour reqs :)

Not to be a bitch or anything but this game actually reminds me of yu-gi-oh season 0 gameplay....you had a field and you put monsters there and they would get a bonus if you placed it right....the only difference between them is the mana cost,field gets random and the attacking...so basically you could say they somehow were a season 0 fan...got a cucu idea to enhance some rules to make it more stable so you wont summon any monster you want and win by just attack points...so yeah its pretty nice.

Well....basically from my point of view it pretty good...however the bad thing would be that you actually need to buy ps3 + that games equipment in order to play it...so like...even if you have cards...you can't actually play in real life am i right?...because its made for ps3 field only...so yu-gi-oh and even Duel masters have a advantage here...easy to get and you can play them everywhere...not only for people for who have money to kill time with >_>...

The thing that kills this game for me is the random elements. Dodge, for example. That point where he was trying to kill the Ice Goddess or whatever it is, and the game was really hanging on if the attack hit or not but it was a tottally random thing, thats what makes me forget this game. Why must card games always have some form of randomness in them?

The Eye Toy is an expensive and wildly under used extension of the PS3. Sony should be expanding and capitalizing on this to do more than just take pictures and make movies. As great as Eye of Judgement it is the only real push with the Eye Toy.

Now imagine playing a game were when you talk your character's face moves as you do in coop or taking your left hand and moving it in front of the camera opperates a crane or robotic arm. How about a horror game that reacts to your face and screams?

My only doubt about this game: HOW TO AVOID CHEATING ONLINE? You can not see other player´s hand, so it would be unfair playing it online. That´s why I I thinking if I will buy the game or not.

When you play online you have to register your deck and the game regulates what cards you actually have (i.e. you don't physically shuffle the game does that then tells you what cards you have in your virtual hand, so it disallows cheating)

But... What about printing the cards? I googled it, and discovered that some people can print the a card with a normal home, common printer... And/Or use only the bar codes the cards have... That means the cheater can have access to any cards he wants... And also has sites that provides this kind of information and card to be printed, cheat...

Man, it is really disappointing the idea that a great game has this kind of problem and cheaters....

well cheating has been neutralized because, for online matches, the computer tells u what to have in yer hand

There was another video that this kid had used what appeared to be transparency paper (the clear sheets of plastic for overhead projectors) and just copied the black barcodes and the green triangles and it worked. Just don't use dry erase >.>

you can play with ought having to register the decks, IF you are all playing in the same house so you can each buy your own decks but have to go to whoever owns the ps3 to play. If you want to play online, then that's a different story.
