oh i forgot your mb disk has your bios default settings but in order to flash your bios you must first set all your current bios settings to default very important.....hope this helps
hey man, how can i update my bios from 1984-2008 to 1984-2010 ??
i went to gigabyte.com and downloaded the bios for my motherboard it gave me 3 files
1.autoexec.bat
2.EP31DS32.FC
3.FLASHSPI.EXE
when i try to run the .exe file...a cmd window opens then it freezez and says (has stopped working)
so i downloaded the bios updater program (from gigabyte) but it's not specefic for my motherboard and choose to update from the server then aftter i restarted my bios was still 1984-2008 nothing happened.
@senshy11 mate put your motherboard disk into the drive boot the bios ,run ezi flash and flash your bios from the disk ,you can even use flash during bootup but make sure all your bios setting are set to default before flashing from your mb disk or you will corrupt your bios and have problems
what is the 'maqboot' file you have the usb? simply the mac boot file to set up osx or something else?
