Dave the Cunt Hunt seems to be quite a nice and intelligent guy. And I love his British worker's accent. All in all this interview sets the right mood you want to get in before you get in the mood that Anaal Nathrak forces. So, with this said, I'm off listening to some nasty English stuff aka the best metal band in the world.
"But the bottom line for that is he has a certain feeling in his head, and a certain sound that he always describes as ARRRRGH! when he describes it. And he makes music that goes ARRRRRGH! and that makes him happy. or unhappy"
lol, I like how down to earth and friendly seeming this guy is considering his band sound very evil.
Dave is fuckin' highly intelligent. I'm glad this band is progressing black metal from the standard "anti-christian, satanism, NS" crap to something with deep, introspective lyrics.
I was getting a little worried with the break they took but now I'm glad they're back to kick, fuckin' ass! Hell yeah! \m/
I'm impressed with the depth of this interview, or rather by the insight Dave gives here.
I don't know if I got that part wrong, but I don't think 'cruelty' is a specifically human feature (if that's what he means by 'quality'). I'd rather say that seperating between good and bad is an effect of human perception, originating from what seems pleasent or unpleasent under one's living conditions as a human being. I don't think we can say for sure if animals have a certain set of such values.
Dave for president anyone?
