  • MY HAIR IS LONGER :P

  • Bring back the hair. Get rid of the gf. Yer gettin soft man. haha ;)

  • You may be wrong about Weimar currency backed by land. To issue more currency you needed more land but you could add liquidity by just reprice the land higher.

You argument is the same as the fallacious "there's not enough gold in the world to back a currency" argument. That's wrong because you can just revalue Gold HIGHER to make it match everything it's backing. Make sense?

  • You know, if it weren't for the longer hair last year I would've thought this was a new vid. All the comments are still relevent.

  • @comrade86 I never stopped!I just cut my hair.

  • @silverfuturist Its funny how people judge how much younger you are with long hair then don't even recognize you when you cut it off.

  • @silverfuturist And we thank you for that!

  • Stop saying ummm

  • Wow! German currency backed by land. First I hear of such a thing. That should be considered in the USA. Thanks for educating us.

  • he looks like weird al yankovic

  • Contact NW Territorial Mint in Washington State. They always have supply and pay S&H plus insurance.

  • Joe don t want to argue but in the stock market money lost in the stock market is not really made by someone else it simply dissapears I remember a farmer saying he lost 2thousand $ by not selling before a market drop he simply still had the cattle

  • @ Joe: Excellent vid - you're very observant. I wouldn't doubt if they were melting down the 100 oz. bars in order to fulfill more orders in smaller portions. Considering that they dropped silver from our currency 45 years ago, yet it is easy to purchase, affordable, and widely used in industry as disposable parts that end up in landfills, you're absolutely right when you talk about how detached the dollar is from silver.

  • but what about the pineapple in the background???

  • @tbstef Sure! I have been so busy I barely started it.

  • bullionbypost in the uk is out of gold(mostly, they a few items without wait).i notice the cases of food..smart boy.

  • Good! Squirrels are horrible little buggers!

  • After locks of love, I vote you start shaving your head. A small initial investment for clippers and you save on haircuts as well!

  • The French had assignats backed by seized land around the time of the French Revolution; they were inflated to the point of worthlessness...

Also, long hair like that was normal in HS back in the early-mid 70's...

  • I like that. Back cash by land, silver, gold or anything that is real and measurable. If you can't touch it, you don't own it.

  • you can buy the zimbabwe dollars on ebay like 1.75 for a hundred trillion or sth

  • Joe, your a wild man! I'd like grow my hair long too. I wish someone would eat the squirrels in my backyard.

  • @mja2035 All you have to do is get some fishers in the neighborhood! They eat squirrels.

  • @7thartofthefugue Thanks! Several viewers have asked me to do a Geddy Lee impression :)

  • @silverfuturist Too funny---I have thought the same thing. Lip sync? ;)

  • love the priduct placement

  • I havent read all of your coments and question posted under your vids, so I might missed out this one, Please bear with me if so.

I have been interested of precious metals since december last year.

When did you enter into this field?

  • @micidragan I got really interested in 2008 during the bailouts.

  • have you ever gotten that you kind of look like Howard Stern?

  • @gullette777 I think I did in a previous comment!

  • Hey Silverfuturist, you saved money by not going to the hairdresser, but I am sure you are using more shampoo because of the length of your hair. Does the shampoo cost you less than the hairdresser? If not, go to the hairdresser, buy less shampoo and more silver! :-)

  • @MrVocalBaby I bought the giant size shampoo bottle so it costs less per ounce!

  • That looks like some delicious Dole pineapple behind you.

  • @RUBuyingSilver Yes, an excellent way to store juice and vitamin C!

  • hahahaha woodchucks!!! This channel is great!!!!!

  • Forced One World Currency is coming (Paperless and Micro chipped under the skin. Whoever doesn't take the mark will not be able to buy or sell. Stock up on food in a secluded spot... IMHO...

  • your hair? it suits you bro! infact it looks wierd when you comb it down! I shave my head so im jellous! lol

  • What's your take on the possible composition change of the nickel under the Obama administrations 2011 budget proposal? The nickel could become the next "junk" coin to be pulled out of circulation by collectors before it's debased? The composition of the nickel (75% copper/25% nickel) has been unchanged since 1946 and I hear it cost almost double the face value to mint.

  • @iFreedom4ever Yes, that would make "junk" nickels, and they could probably be legally melted down! But I think people would chose to hold them instead of melt them.

  • I love 90% silver coins simply because it is often the cheapest, most divisible, most widely recognized and traded form of silver.

  • I like your product placement. :)

  • cheers dude

  • 'junk' silver coins could be getting snapped up because people are buying in the dip, and 'junk' silver tends to have the lowest premiums relative to high divisibility if you ever wanted to use them as money for bartering imo

  • Kronwitzer Muenzen has an extreme high premium since last shortage at his shop. The premium is really skyhigh now. While the price is dropping.

  • I don't think we'll get the point where we're printing billion or trillion $ bills. We'll see though. Good video!

  • How much junk U.S. silver is there? I added up all the mintages fom 1919 on i figure about 2-3 billion ounces of silver. Many got melted down in 1980 its hard to know whats left. Lost, rubbed down, melted into englehard bars. Right before Y2k junk bags were going for a 50 percent premium. You can never duplicate ,has a rarity value that may come out. Junk has the most potential of any silver investment.

  • I heard it was 9 inches for the hair. :-) Your such a positive giving person silverfuturist.

  • @silverfuturist land may SEEM finite, but it can be INFINITELY divided. am i right??????.

"This one dollar bill represents one square Micro inch of property."

  • donante your hair!! DUDE

  • I like the fact that you plan on donating your hair. My best friends teenage daughter, who was so proud of her long hair, lost all of it going through chemo. She lost her battle with Luekemia but, while she was alive and battling, she was given a wig from donated hair. You're a true gentleman.

  • Could this mean that silver is short term overbought, like Europeans buying gold at 1000 Euros putting in a top? But even if so then the end of this dip after new weak hands are swung out could be a good buying opportunity.

  • Could this mean that silver is short term overbought, like Europeans buying gold at 1000 Euros putting in a top? But even if so then the end of this dip after new weak hands are swung out could be a good buying opportunity.

  • do not cut your hair, keep it as is, it is fitting for your energy level.

  • Umicore : 2 weeks delivery, normally ready for collection

  • I never thought of a currency backed by land. Seems like that would be even more stable than a currency backed by gold.

  • I think you should keep your hair.

  • Wish I could take silverfuturist's approach to saving money on haircuts, but being bald I'd end up looking like a young Ben Franklin. Instead bought clippers and went with the Burr cut.

  • Personally I love the hair lol..

Silver PAPER market is an illusion which allows us to buy at ridiculously low prices, but not for too much longer...

  • there should be no problem with buying these notes - there are on-line coin/banknote shops. You can try to find German banknotes from the hyperinflation period.

  • 20 usd for 100 000 MARKS from 1922

Sounds good, and that's first found internet shop. (ww w_kcshop[dot]com)

  • or 20 aud for 5 000 000 000 MARKS from 1923

    coins-and-banknotes[dot]com[dot]au

  • The price drops, and the vendors markups will go up....Hmmm.....Keep the vids coming! I watch everyday!!! LOL Average Joe!

  • Thanks so much for your videos I always learn a lot from them. And keep up the good work.

  • I cut my hair myself. Really easy to do, and like you I don't really care about the hair style.

That's cool your going to donate your hair when it's long enough. Should do that in the winter when I go into my "hairy season" to stay warm for outdoor work. Shave it in the summer when it gets warm and donate it.

I have a pet chipmunks. Wondering what they taste like. :) should start breeding them in case. ;)

  • Joe, youve got groupies buddie..Look at all the people you have encouraged..You Have made a very big difference man in getting facts out in the open.the truth is hard to find these days..You areobjective but a man has to be objective and look at all views instead of just one..You and many of us will get the last laugh...Have a good night buddie...

  • GAME OVER!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Silverfuturist, do a youtube search on damon vrabel. I just watched a 4 part series he did that is very interesting; he presents a really good overview of what's going on with the banksters and government and us, the regular people. Thanks for your videos.

  • @nbrown1378 I made an observation and you come back with this vile? What is worse? You need to do something about that anger there mate.

  • OMG You're jason Hommel !!!

  • YOU ARE A GOOD MAN JOE

  • Great - but be sure to get that haircut before you get to the 'squirrel-phase' of growth futurist ;)

  • How about a currency backed by squirrels?

  • Your hair is actually fitting. Beside You are not your hair so why would someone care? Hey that rhymed! lol Happy investing Joe.

  • Thanks for the unusual array of information. Let's hope we see Silver going back up after the latest suspicious decline.

  • Wore mine long when I was younger but now can't stand it long now. My hair & nails grow much faster than normal. Going to the barber weekly takes 2 much TIME! So 1 day I cut it myself. Did a really good job the very first time -- but couldn't get the back properly so asked my wife. That's all it took. Now she cuts my hair and loves doing it. So I save money, TIME, and it added 1 more thing mt wife and I do together.

nld1960 - more 2 it than money bro . . . lay off Joe he's got it together.

  • There's a lot of those hyper inflated notes on Ebay. I picked up a set of 100 trillion, down to 50 million zimbabwe notes for under $15 Aud there in mint Unc condition and they look great! I plan on collecting German Marks from the 30s up to the Yugoslav notes and frame them for educational and conversational pieces.

Whilst I personally don't deal/save in fiat currency at all, I find the history of it fascinating.

  • You have 'rock star' hair my dear friend!

  • what's the expiration on that pineapple juice?

  • @stripe64 : rofflol

  • Junk silver is going through a shortage here as well. Usualy i find silver at flea markets. the only thing i am finding now is sterling and the people that are selling sterling don't even know it is sterling. They think it is plated and most of the sterling is antique.

  • @kindacoiny Yes I am hearing people are finding deals on sterling silverware at flea markets and estate auctions!

  • Very good. You are a foutain of useful facts. Thanks for all the research you share with us.

  • Love the hair...:-) could be used for the oil spill too.....another great vid ...tkx...off to listen to crabby on the radio.......

  • Silver,

The world has to worry about hyperinflation not the United States. Until the bond between the US dollar and oil is broken or replaced with another currency, the greenback is KING.

Don't get me wrong, we will experience inflation but we won't have a currency crisis. I guarantee it.

  • @eatandtravel Okay, I can see that hyperinflation would not happen based upon that logic, but a revalued dollar could happen. Like we wake up one day and the dollar is now worth 50-70 cents because they had to revalue the paper currency system.

  • Silver,

The US dollar isn't fiat because it's backed by oil. Remember, the world can only buy oil by using US dollars. The can't use pounds, euros, rembis, or pesos to buy oil. In effect, the US has created an articficial deman for the greenback. How does the United States enforce this dollar only policy regarding oil? The US military.

  • @eatandtravel interesting take, no longer backed by silver or gold but by black gold

  • @TheSilverbullet99

You got it! That's why the US dollar is so special. As long as the world is addicted to black gold, the world needs US dollar to buy oil. That's why US government spends so much on the military to enforce the dollar only rule when it comes to oil.

By the way, the Iranians want nukes to defend themselves if they choose to drop the dollar. This whole BS about Iran giving nukes to terrorist groups utter bull by the US government.

  • WOW, you're drawing the crabs today... a sure sign that you're getting noticed. Just ignore/block them SF, they're everywhere, and if you reply it'll just encourage them. P.S. were you going to mention something about the pineapple juice in the background? :)

  • @OzClawhammer I forgot to mention that those cans of Pineapple juice were one of my prep methods! I love them, they will last a few months I will replace them.

  • @silverfuturist FYI (in case you didn't know) As part of the Bromeliad family of plants, pineapples are particularly high in an enzyme called 'Bromelain'. Look it up....apart from it's incredible medicinal purposes... It also gives you a pleasant feeling :)

  • silverfuturist-Why the interest in 90% silver bags vs Mint 99% coins? Are the 90% coins worth as much as the 99% coins? I know the markup is less when you buy the silver bags but there must be some other reason for their popularity, right?

  • @blownaway The silver bags contain silver in a form that the average person off the street will identify more easily than the 1 ounce coins in my opinion. Also, if people want to use silver for exchange, a dime or a quarter is smaller change than an ounce. I am interested because I don't see them sell out often.

  • @blownaway if you take Mike Maloney's advice, he recommends staying away from junk silver, for the main reason that the amount and purity of silver is not on the coins. I would add to that, that I'd bet the majority of people out there don't even know that pre-1965 coins contain silver.

  • Thanks for the info. I did learn something, lol

  • Hey Corporate Joe!

Last weekend I showed one of your vids for my friend.

He did directly cut you down because of you hairstyle.

I was surprised because I thoought that the guy was openminded one.

Told him that if he did listen to you, then he would be weeks or even months ahead of the main stream media, if you get my point.

I like the way you are because you dont seem to care to be like the others want you to. That is a mark of an independent mind.

    Cheers!

  • @micidragan That is exactly why I made that comment. I am sorry now that I did. So many people come by these videos and make that first judgment and lose out on some great information. The same thing with Streetmony21. I have had people in my office ask me why I am listening to wild looking people on YouTube. They think I am nuts.

  • I cut my own hair. Its easy. But donating is cool too.

I dont know. They run a lean inventory. Ive seen it "out of stock" off and on over the last couple years. Weimer Germany is a bad comparison. It was sort of stone age (few had bad accounts,no electroinc mkt). Compare to Argentina in the 80 and 90's

  • dude, that is the coolest reason for not getting a hair cut I have heard. Actually, I did the same thing, but more out of laziness.

BTW, back in your corporate days, are you or are you not working for some corporation ?

  • check ebay for the weimar notes

  • It is difficult for me to get 90% silver as well.

  • Weimar Germany's currency was backed by land? Wow. Could that have been part of the expansionist push by the Nazis?

  • Hey man, don't listen to all these negative people who want to criticize you for this that and the other.

It's no one's damn business what you do.

Please just keep making your vids for all of us who appreciate your mind.

P.S. I have shaved my head for 7 years, and cut it myself for 7 years before that.

The only thing I miss are the hot chicks rubbing all up on my head when I went to get it cut.

  • That's a very noble gesture you're doing with your hair Joe. It'll be strange seeing it short! Hope you grow it again afterwards. Maybe you should adopt a massive silver coloured afro while it's growing back!! :)

  • is it just me or is tulvings website horrible compared to gainsville or apmex way to ugly on the eyes and terrible to work around !

  • @polarbeach I think they are capitalizing on their name and are more old school merchants, my two copper

  • You look great Bro, let your Freak Flag Fly!!!

I'd let my hair grow, but fear resembling David Crosby

    (albeit in his healthier times...).

I do have some old German notes.....

Like 100,000 DM from that era, I think....

Might be able to hook you up. PM me a reminder

    if interested! Thanks for sharing!

  • You can save alot of money on toiletpaper if you ..

  • You are TEN times better-looking with the long hair than with the short.

  • @whiskerchild I agree, the long hair suits him much better.

  • I have a 100 trillion note from zimbwabwe also along with a few german notes that I bought a few weeks ago for $2 a piece.

its good to have that zimbwabwe note because its a reminder what fiat paper notes are all about

  • I have a couple of 100 trillion Zimbabwe notes...got them on ebay for like $3.00 for a bundle...

  • The long hair is killer dude as long as it doesnt bother ya.

  • if there's a world currency we're screwed. That will be the central bank to end all central banks, it'll be so massive and opaque that they'll do and say whatever they want. The currency will be said to be backed by gold but redeeming your gold will be like traveling to OZ, bunch of midgets running around and shit. haha. but seriously, we're screwed, the bigger the bank the bigger the raping.

  • ScotiaMocatta has been out of 100oz bars for well over 45 days. they had no silver maples for a couple of weeks. they do have some now. for how long i do not know.

  • @maddog7667 mocatta maples are way over priced... much cheaper for us to buy them from gainsville coins or apmex and have them shipped up here .... you will save a lot of money this way ... try it !

  • @polarbeach yeah i know maples are over priced. but there is a plus if i place order on tuesday it is here friday.

  • @maddog7667 i get my maples from the states in 3-4 days also and save big ! I suggest you try it gainsville or apmex I have used them and within 4 days it is delivered to my front door at a much better price than scotia. good luck.

  • @nld1960 The organization I mentioned is a charity - I am giving it away. I get very few trolls, I wonder what I said to cause you to give me a hard time.

  • @silverfuturist you didn't say nothing bro ... can't please all the people all of the time ... don't stress and enjoy the weekend .

  • @silverfuturist - LOL on getting trolled by nld1960.

    .

Yesterday, on another one of your vids, nld1960 said, "And I concur with you being an extremely intelligent person. I am truly blessed that I have the opportunity to learn from you. Thanks"

    .

My guess is (s)he's probably just driving drunk on the intertubes today. ;-))

  • @nameofthepen yes that person is hot and cold with the comments. The intention is what is important to me, and it seems they like me it is just the latest comment didn't come across well to me.

  • @silverfuturist Real friends tell you the truth. Fair weather friends tell you everything you want to hear. You could be my son. If I saw my son in public before hundreds of people, I would want him to look good, not wild. If he wants long hair for a great cause, fine, but then he can at least comb it or a pony tail like so many men have these days. That is all. Other than that, I wish I had your knowledge and brain. You are tremendous. What is a troll? Is that what I am?

  • @silverfuturist You said nothing wrong mate.

  • @silverfuturist Great hair!

I think it helps you look like one of those great professors that everyone wishes they had a class with. Your presentation style is always interesting.

Speaking of interesting... How does @nld1960 come to the conclusion that you can't afford a haircut when you clearly stated that you're simply saving money? Points out a typical stigma: saving money = poor ? lol head-shaker

  • @nld1960 I just seen your comment unfairly criticising Joe's locks and thought I'd take a look at your channel to see your beautiful self. Alas, you haven't even uploaded any videos. I was so looking forward to seeing the perfection that is nld1960. That figures, I guess some people can be ugly right to the core.

  • @TheHolySpirit I just made an observation, but call me vile names. What is worse? You call yourself Holy Spirit. What's up with that?

  • @nld1960 Maybe he wants to practice living humbly by choice as many will soon by necessity. It is not a bad practice. You don't have to look like those you see on tv. Don't be such a conformist sheep. It's good to be different, variety is necessary for life.

  • @aybesee123 I made an observation and told Joe about it. I did not call him any any names, as a matter of fact I have given him nothing but praise, now and in most of his blogs. Thought maybe he wanted to know. I would have. Real friends do that. They tell you the truth.

But I thought that my note was for Silverfuturist, not you. I don't even know you.

You know nothing about me, never seen me, but you call me derogatory names. Isn't that far worse than making an observation?

  • @nld1960 I was making a observation as well. Maybe you shouldnt worry about what people look like. He is here sharing his knowledge and insight, Thank him, don't criticize him.

  • @aybesee123 I have on many, many occasions. How about you? First of all, I was not talking to you. I cannot believe I make one comment and all these people come after me with their filth and vile. Whats up with that. I cannot believe how thin skinned people are. You would never make it should things get tough.

  • @nld1960 LMAO! I am going bald and envy Joe!

  • @nld1960 Hi, your comment came across as negative to me, although it now seems you were not intending to be negative. I do thank you for your other positive comments.

  • Thanks. I guess in retrospect I should have kept my mouth shut. I wholeheartedly apologize. I wish that some of my so-called-friends had talked to my when I needed it.

I am so glad however that I am not in a public theater without law enforcement. From the looks of some of these posts, I would have been hung without a trial. People have become so thin skinned.

  • Started a silver round collection when I was kid. Then they were only $6.00/oz. Aside from the intrinsic value, they're works of art. Forget the paper trades. Buy the real stuff. Rounds are great starter for kids.

  • squirels and deer allmost extinct in last depression..barter gets huge in food moonshine etc save silver for buying farmland..just a guess

  • @charles98888 LOL I bought a air rifle a while ago for squirrel & bird hunting purposes, I see lots of them running around now, but if there's a food crisis people will be trying to catch these. I'm in a big populated city & there's not enough squirrels for 3+ million people in my city. When the timing is right silver & gold will be good for purchasing land...I hope. Gun confiscations are a terrifying thought because no guns = no defense & no hunting.

  • Its true what you speak. The fellow I purchase my PM's from told me he was having shortages of 1oz Gold & Silver & on the 100oz bars from the mint. I saw online somewhere that Germany is buying up alot of philharmonics & there's shortages there also. If your interested you can have a look at silvergoldbull (dot) com He's a good guy, I've dealt with some real characters before who weren't very nice people very impersonal and rude & there prices were too high. BTW your hairs cool!

  • It could be that the people in Europe are stocking up on metals right now. They know the Euro is doomed.

  • Now it's funny to actually see gold coins running out first. This being because of the skepticism of paper currency. People in Europe, especially Europe, have run to gold. I actually think that people are wising up to not putting as much faith into the paper ETF's. But, I'm fearing that large holder's of gold may sell off and take high risk investments in stocks. So what! It just provides a great opportunity to bring down the cost average. It'll be back up and my cost average will be lower :>)

  • I kept some old money from the Euro switch, as a nostalgic memory.

  • Maybe SLV and GLD are taking in more physical for the day of reckoning when the masses try to exchange their paper for physical? People better act quick before BOE (Bank of England) demands their gold back.

  • LOL futurist....I thought you might have been a John Lennon fan!

Speaking of silver shortages appearing at many exchanges. The same happened in 2008 when industrial production levels were up past 80%. We began seeing silver shortages. As soon as the market crash we began seeing the 1000oz bars channeled to the private mints. This put the silver investor's their 4% of newly mined silver back into the market for purchase. ASE's were selling on eBay at over 100% premium during this shortage.

  • @WhyMeWhySilver How about a precious metals IRA. Are they safe? I have a couple of IRAs that have done nothing. As a matter of fact it has lost a lot of money.

  • @nld1960 Well.....that depends on how much you trust the government holding your belongings.

Would you let another man keep your wallet?

Would you let another man keep your wife?

Last but not least is you will pay a tax on your metals earnings. That portion that goes over your allowed yearly earnings after deductions.

  • You could just increase the price of land and then issue the additional money because of the increased price. Same as Gold. It isn't a matter of quantity, it's a matter of price.

  • i bought 200 trillion zimbabwe dollars on ebay for $6 US. I think i got ripped off on that trade...LOL

  • Tally sticks are the best way to pay taxes i say
