But there's historical evidence of people from the African continent being present in Crete and influencing it's culture. Well Greek vases doesn't really prove anything since it's art and can be abstract. But there's historical evidence of people from the African continent being present in Crete and influencing it's culture. Then through the Roman Empires' colonization and enslavement of later Western European people. It spread to the America's. From there one one thing is correct: Egyptians were local African people. Not "black" as you imagine them but certainly were local African people and as such Egypt was an African civilisation.

By the way you have to understand that Africa is not a race, Africa is a continent. The notion of black race (as the notion of white race) do not exist in proper anthropology but only as very very genetic groupings.

I have lots of respect for African cultures. Africa is host to some of the oldest civilisations - and that is not Egypt (which was not black-African as you imagine but the product of an interim African-Asian-Mediterranean population) - namely the Ethiopian (Nubian) kingdoms that predate Egypt and which are at the roots of the Egyptian culture (though Egyptians were not really Nubians themselves). There are other cultures in Nigeria that built huge constructions (a long wall) forgotten today.

3) Minoans were not Africans, there is not any slightest of evidence of any African presence in Greece or Minor Asia.
