I've always suspected there was a bit of chemistry between Archer and T'Pol, more than either wanted to let on. Despite the age difference they're a hell of a lot more believable than 'Trip'/T'Pol.

Quite sweet how he mentored her in the odd ways of humanity, and yet she gently (and sometimes brashly) pointed out them out when he couldn't see them.

Loved the clever reversal of the 'Logical man/emotional woman' situation, or 'Calm elder, troubled youth' .

Completely agreed about your views on t'pol, however i would say that trip was a better character then archer who seemed like he was trying to prove himself every hour of his life.

It did seem like it was going to happen but Archer changed too much in the Expance. In the end I liked that they were just really close friends.

I figure they put Trip as the counterpart of T'pol cause in reality it would have been too much of a distraction for the Captain. All the same I really enjoyed Trip and T'pol as a couple (or rather almost a couple) it just kinda worked.

The kissing scene is from A Night in Sickbay and the arm wrestling from Shadows of P'Jem. I have mixed feelings about both episodes. Some scenes I like or love and some I could do without or hate.

I love Archer! I actually prefer that T'Pol didn't get with him because I feel that he could do so much better. I like Trip with T'Pol...and Archer is like Kirk in a way...so many girls but none really stay. He's the unattainable. sadly though...I'd like him! ^__~

T'Pol and Trip was a surprise like someone giving you a wedgie on a really bad day. Yes, it's a surprise she'd end up with Trip, but a bad surprise.

What's the big deal if the very handsome captain gets a girlfriend, and it just happens to be his best (gal) pal? It's 1) epic and 2) happens in real life. ;)
