my mom knew Dan Reed way back during the Dan Reed Network days. she was just showin me the scrapbook shes got of the band...we're gonna go see Dan play tonight in Portland :o) cant wait! its been a long time since ive seen him...he took me on stage when i was a little girl lol
are you serious? this is NOT keanu reeves...WOW. learn your music. this is dan reed. lead singer of the dan reed network. they were huge back in the late 80s....seriously? dont comment on videos if you dont even know whos in it....LOL. im gonna tell Dan that theres ppl out there who think he looks like Keanu, thats hilarious! he looks nothing like him.
I remember Dan during talent show in high school in Aberdeen, SD - I think he won, with his band, back then. Amazing how all of us have gone completely different ways....
HELL YES HELL YES HELL YESS I BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS SONG FOR YEARS!!!! I was a Buck Williams Fan big time and till this Day hes WIll always be my favorite Player, Only person ever came close to him was David Robinson!!
I remember this song from the golden age of the Portland Trailblazers with Jerome Kersey, Clyde Drexler, etc. playing on Z100 and Portland Musician Dan Reed singing it. For the 2008 2009 first home game of the Trailblazer BB Season we need to have Dan Reed sing the song along with the original Trailblazer ensemble to get the fans excited about the debut of Center Greg Oden !!!!
Funny I'm 26, I grew up in Portland, I listened to Z100 growing up as well, don't remember this. I do remember the black and red blazers franz bread though!! I am trying to find a picture on the internet of that stuff but I am having no luck.
I'm from Portland and it's for sure 1992 - Z100 morning show people came up with the idea and made the video. It's on their 2000 4-disc greatest hits type collection with the date (shameful that I own that I know) and good god I will never stop loving it.
Oh man, those were the days. We got so close those years, and then again in the "Gotta get a headband" years. Hopefully with our #1 pick, we can revive Rip City.
Man, I remember this song. I always loved it never knew they had a MV for it though, lol. Now if only I could find the song "Morning Driving" that they played on Z100 every so often I'd be even happier, lol. Thanks for putting this up and some really fun memories that I have of it,lol.
Awww yeah. My middle school (Fernwood) sold the most magazine subscriptions that year, and the Dan Reed Network came and played a show in our gym. "Bust a Bucket" was most definitely the highlight.
they need to remake this with this years blazers
