The Art requires blank books called Kortee'nea. Gehn removed all of these books from Atrus' possession when he locked him in the study. It would be impossible to Write another Age without one.

Linking books have rules. The Linking Book can only link to the place where it was Written. And one cannot link to the same Age from where one begins. Only Yeesha has broken these ancient laws with help from The Least

Before the cavern was closed 3 days prior to this post you could go to K'veer and gain access to this room was Atrus was trapped. The firemarble which was laying on the ground in this video is gone now. And the marker leaning against the wall in this vid does not bear the mark of the Guild of Maintainers as all the others in Gahreesen now do.

oh ok the fire marble was probubly picked up at sum point in time where as the Maintainer's symbol is odd.

Rand Miller's performance was twice as good in the original. This one isn't nearly as believable. As Frungi said, slamming his hand on the book was the perfect portrayal of his anger.

I have to say, I prefer the original version: "(long sigh) You didn't bring the page. You... didn't bring the page! What kind of FOOL are you?! Ugh! (sigh)"

He really made you feel like you really screwed him over, and yourself too. And slamming his hand on the book to accentuate the word was a nice touch. Much more effective than just gesturing, as he does here.

... Going by the (reasonable) premise that Atrus says exactly the same lines in both videos (albeit with different intonations and vocal inflections), the RealMyst video does seem to corroborate /a posteriori/ the interpretation of the line "What kind of FOOL ARE YOU?!!!" for the first video.

... audio is of good quality, and in this version I do hear it (and he says it) much more clearly as "What kind of fool are you?!" (albeit the "What" is still a little quiet and the start of the line is slightly slurred).

Thanks for posting this up and responding with it! I had heard the RealMyst ending before through the other posted video (currently the first link under "Related Videos" here), but that one has poor audio quality by virtue of its capture process and thus it still isn't easy to discern the words -- they sound almost like "I don't follow you" or "I don't fooroar you" or something. While yours may have glitchy/lagging video, the ...
