Not hating or anything because it's her money so she can spend it with or without our approval. But some of her eye shadows, blushes, paint pots are the exact same color just by different brands. I don't understand the point. If there's nothing wrong with the product your using why buy more of the same color? I think it's cool though how she's independent. No matter what I think it's her money as long as she still has enough to pay the bills, food, everyday care can I really judge? :/

You can put some rubbing alcohol or "Beauty So Clean" in a tiny spray bottle and spray any powder products such as eye shadows to kill any bacteria. You can also buy a special light which kills bacteria as well. Mascara needs to be thrown out though.

@xeda712 as long as you keep it at a cool temperture, stored properly and you keep it and it's surroundings clean most everything lasts a long time. i don't throw anything out until it starts to look, feel and smell gross. except for mascara.

@xeda712 Again, make-up does expire, but it won't kill you. Most MUA's keep their MU for keepsakes, testing and playing around. It's just like putting expired food on your face - as long as you clean afterwards, it really does you no harm.
