thing that pissed me off was the ''ethnic, like I care'' comment not him saying 'US' when refering to the UK, that's no big deal at all. however turnming his back on his culture and laughing at it is where I find him to be out of order. I don't like Graham Norton anyway, tbh I only thought he was funnny in Father Ted, that was it, I think he's an arrogant twat now.
@GunjanMJFan I know he meant it as humour, and everyone is entitled to their opinion I just thought he's playing up to his audience, I dont like Norton anyway, he's not very charismatic and the only thing he has going for him is that he's gay, other than that he's not particularly interesting at all, as I said he was good in Father Ted crao in anything else I seen him in.
@Lynn15 I think in all fairness, the brits had the power to do a lot of good in the world, but instead, they fucked up most of it. So yes, most people hate the UK.
Brits had the power do alot of good in this world? Why the fuck should we do all the good in this world, when numerous countries attacked us before we became a power. Anyway, who gives a flying fuck about a music competition which is only capable of producing two reputable artists. We still remain one of the two major music producing countries and if we're liked or not means fuck all to most of us.
And another thing, we have won the eurovision song contest 5 times. Cypus has come 5th at best, so you sound a little hypocritical. Like it matters anyway.
And this fucking twat Norton spoilt it again with his aimless ramblings. Talented him? He's got not fucking discerning talent and that twat Dubovie has no talent either.
@ddddwhelan123 Yeah but Terry wogan called the UK "us" as well, it's because he is a very famous person in the UK and he is the BBC spokesperson so for Eurovision he is supporting/in support of the UK's entry obviously.
When Graham was on the Late Late show Irish Eurosong special he referred to Ireland as us by saying "I hope we have a good song this year" So I would say he is both Irish and British but that is only my opinion on him he afterall was born in Ireland and has a home in Dublin too
@Referral123 i don't know think you quite understood me I know why he said "us" I was just trying to get some feedback as to weather people agree with an Irish person calling "the rival nation" us
I think his fame in the UK does come into it Some would call him a sell out for doing this, in a way, almost betraying ireland I wouldn't, I don't care what Graham Norton does just as long as he doesn't untie my shoelaces like he did when he took me on a fishing trip for my Uncle Richie's 39thbirthday
@ddddwhelan123 He works for the BBC just as Terry Wogan did! Of course he is going to say "US" when referring to the UK. I'm sure if there was a British person commentating for RTE then he would say "us" as well when referring to Ireland.
Josh dethingy was a disaster!!
Hope we get a good entry in 2012
