  • It's from a safety video about the importance of properly venting tanker cars during product transfer or following cleaning to prevent damage to the tank.

In this case they filled the tanker with steam and then shot cold quench water into it for a rather more dramatic effect.

  • @placeboringnamehere Hello Reddit!

  • invisible Hulk?

  • this is my lungs after smoking a bong

  • Comment removed

  • thats just a nearly perfect vacuum createb by injecting steam in the railroad tank and seal it. by cooling down the outside airpreasure is enough to let it collaps :)

  • please song

  • @rr15oB2ko the song is included in ulead video studio 11 (maybe in other versions, too). its also only 50 sec long

  • @HitHo92 ok tnx

  • Music ?

  • wheres Chuck Norris?

  • @aleinworld Chuch Norris's juice box?

  • Hold on how the fuck did that happened??

  • Meanwhile at CERN in Switzerland, scientists operating the large hadron collider wonder where their mini black hole went.

  • I HAVE THE POWER!!!!!!!!!!

  • Did someone invisable who is fat fall :L

  • ok wheres magneto?

  • they pumped out everything what was inside and it created vacuum, maybe the material of the tank was weak and just crushed

  • it was the incredivuls

  • They heated up the the trailer with water inside, then closed it and the air pressure collapsed it. or vakuum. these are the 2 ways to do that....

  • Chuck Norris did that when he sat on it.

  • Magneto was there

  • Could they have dropped an invisible Snorlax on it?

  • I bet an invisible fat person sat on it.

  • Invisible Hulk SMASH!!!

  • what a waste of a good train car

  • that was awesome i lived right next to train trax for like 15 years nice to know now that could of happened at any time

  • I think it's fake. Probably it's a reverse played video.

  • @pbrito81 nopes, you can even recreate this, at a smaller scale. Take an empty can of soft drink and heat it up. Once done, take it and put it hole first (the openned part) into icy water. The can will collapse on itself cause the steam inside the can reverted into water, and the air pressure , outside of the can, was stronger than the one inside of the can. So it crushed.

  • @Shadowgirl669 I was kidding... but thanks for the explanations.

  • @pbrito81

    so they inflated a tank?

why not just take a stop motion video while they crushed it.

  • @pbrito81 Oh yes genius this is reverse played video, fake.

In fact they took ordinary vacuum-compressed tank (this is how they come from the factory, to save space), unscrewed the cap, let the air in, and voila, like new. Then you just post the video in reverse.

  • WHAT!!!!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?

  • galileo ist so scheiße^^

  • Fakecheck :D

  • i was rolling up laughing at this (even though it's inappropiate).

the force to do this must have been enormous.

  • the best part is the music

  • DON'T FUCK WITH CHUCK NORRIS.

  • @YuppieFarmer

yes, thank you yuppie... Someone who understands physics!

For all you 9th graders... next year you will learn about Boyle/Charles/Gay-Lussac

laws. It happens in your ass too, but you can't do your homweork assignment on Boyle's law of flatulence.

  • Zing~!

  • If that was an accident from the sun, how come it's cloudy and raining, and there is a camera there to film it, and there is a large crowd gathered behind a safety rope to watch? Why is that hose connected? I think it was intentionally vacuumed for some kind of demonstration.

  • @Kauwhaka Its explained in the description that the temperature needs to be cold for it to implode. Rain=cold.

  • this is how Chuck Norris disposes of empty beer cans

  • Galileo ^^

  • INVISIBLE GODZILLA STAMPED ON IT!

  • This actually happened at my work place in the form of a barrel full of engine oil. There's a hole for a hand pump and a small vent hole to allow air in as oil is pumped out. We didn't take off the vent hole and screwed on the hand pump so well it was an airtight seal. My coworker said he was pumping oil when the thing imploded jumping a foot in the air while he jumped back ten feet. (Obviously exaggerated but still funny) Only wish I could've seen it.

  • imagine if you were standing inside that when it imploded... ew

  • If u filled it with steam the rapidly cooled it the gas would condense in to water which takes up less space the steam which cause the tanker to implode, try it with a can or bottle. its fun.

  • invisible fat bastards landing on tanks... imo

  • no 'Evanengb' you monkey - it was because as the air inside cooled it shrunk creating a partial vacuum, the higher external pressure caused th.e implosion

  • how is that even possible!

  • lol

  • @SpecklePattern Relating to building demolition, the term "implosion" is not refering to implosion as defined by physics, it is simply refering to way the charges cause to building to fall in on itself. I hope this helps

  • no..it was because of different tempatures in and outside the tank

  • Just think; what did that was the sheer weight of the atmosphere. And we walk around under all that. lol

  • it's like 16lbs/inch, not that much. (spread over that much area it is)

  • wow caused by nothing but air

  • i think someone divided by zero

  • maths lol!

  • @shifie wonderful comment

  • @shifie chuck norris was in the crowd

  • @shifie oh i remember this comment... i rofled massively when i saw this

  • That actually happened where I work. Some idiot forgot to open a valve when they were sucking the contents out of it. Oops, sorry about that boss.

  • Just think what would happen if someone was in there cleaning it.

  • that would be funny

  • So was the internal pressure brought to zero in seconds?

  • the internal pressure was just low relative to the outside, the tank imploded becuse its a ridge body which breaks down suddenly in reaction to the outside force, rather then slowly getting smaller like a balloon for instance

  • So the ribs dont allow for slow release or collapse, they just let go at one point and you get a massive structural failure, boom, its crushed like a can. Its either that or a homeless guy nearby crushed it with his out of control telekinetic powers. Thats possible too....

  • @CanadaMan81 ahaha <3

  • did someone forget to vent the dome lid? lol

  • whoa!

  • lol??

  • is it possible?

  • Oh yeah its possible, just suck out all the air inside. Its the outside air trying to get in to where the negative pressure (no air) is that causes the crushing force.

  • lol wtf :)
