Ronald Reagan's support of those who gave their lives to stop this horror led to the defeat of soviet communism and freedom and self determination for countless millions. His administration initiated diplomatic relations with Saddam's Iraq in 1983, a country that previously was on the US list of terrorist sponsoring countries, provided him him billions in arms and aid all throughout the 80's, even after he gasses Kurdish villages.

All of Che's violence was in persuit of a philosophy that makes the individual a slave of the state.
But I do think the evidence suggests that Che was a sociopath and narcisist. He enjoyers imposing his will on people, and particularly relished using violence.
Had communism not provided an outlet for these tendencies, he likely would have been gang leader, a drug baron, or a serial killer.

Frogstomp, you make a good point. And while Che probably killed some innocents, many he killed after the Cuban Revolution succeeded were likely high ranking Batista supporters who would have killed any Fidelistas had they won. (Batista's regime killed several thousand Cubans themselves in the 1950s.) At least Che tried to create an egalitarian, self-sufficient society, instead of one ruled by profit.

funded what? not a single church ducat went to the nazis. In fact the papacy ordered "neutrality" for the church, but at the same time church informants and convents were sheltering jews and downed allied pilots. So they were "neutral" pro allied.

The point I was making is that it's all well and good to parade a long line of portraits and claim this and that but for all I know they could be anyone. I'm not even taking a side, I just wanted to find about who they were and what the conditions were that surrounded their deaths

Why don't you ask the source of the video? That would be a good start.And my point is that you should know that "freedom of press" and access to info doesn't exists in totalitarian countries where the State controls every single part of your life. You at least should have an idea of that.

You can't just make a video claiming something and then defend the lack of sources and information by saying that country lacks freedom of press. I'm well aware it doesn't exist under totalitarian governments but Freedom of press or not, those people still have names, so asking for them shouldn't imply any sort of naivety on my behalf. As for asking the source of the video, I asked on the video comments section, isn't that direct enough?
