  • what type of engine do these police vauxhalls have?

  • @Robex The Met use 1.7 Diesel.

  • Would be a 159 :P Arriva

  • that will be me soon

  • Haha, love it !! :D

  • Another stupid bus driver going more stupid for London.

  • one word. fail.

  • stupid bus drivers

  • This bus is taking the PISS MAN!!

  • awesome!

  • me say whoop whoop dats da sound of dee police

  • You think the bus was bad? You haven't seen NYPD vids yet :D

  • @TheDoubledoppler Oh I have, but thats what they get for not using the siren properly

  • @BlueLightVids lol! :D

  • Great Video luv the new headlights

  • 1. bus drivers not permited to mount kerbs regardless of police cars behind. ( police probably told not to either as you will note that they did not drive down the pavement although could of easily!) for obvious reasons. 2. Bus drivers not permittedf to drive thru red lights unless told to by a police officer DIRECTING the traffic at the junction otherwise prosecution and loss of licence likely in event of incident. 3. copper was a knob

  • That is NOT how you use an air horn!

  • @86501freightliner He may have over used it but its meant for situations such as this

  • That cop smoked that curb at 0:02!

  • In that situation, the sirens should have been turned off. If you watch any of the Met police training videos on Pootube, they all turn the siren off when no progress can reasonably be made.

  • @grumpyrozzer Its a different story when a fella colleague has hit their emergency button because there getting 3 bells of shit kicked outta them, or someones on a 999 call and dropped the reciever because they are getting stabbed repeatly. In those situations when you can hear whats happening, you need to get their fast. The fact the bus driver had not anticipated nor heard nor seen the police car PRIOR to the junction is alarming.

  • @lightningpete

Ever been in that situation? I have! Both as the officer in the car trying to get to the urgent assistance shout and the officer requiring the assistance.Sadly some drivers are not aware of what is happening in their own cars, never mind the approaching blue light vehicle!! Trying to "bully" other road users out of the way with the bull horn or 2 tones will do worse rather than good, a sad fact, but true. What the video does not show, is no whats happening in front of the bus.

  • @grumpyrozzer yes i have lad. But the fact that most drivers dont anticipate or pre plan as they are travelling is alarming. Considering london is a busy place with a lot of emergency vehicles flying past every minute of every day, the bus driver should have been prepared for what happened in front of them. The officer in the car didnt help at all really. Considering the gap he could have hopped the pavement and been extremly cheeky lol.

  • This is either an inexperienced police driver or one with a room temperature IQ. I agree with BandAidUK, he was way too close to the bus, etc, etc.

  • @AROBLOXZ Nope he was just stationery

  • long a la détente les anglais ^^

  • 3 things:

    1) The driver of the police car got himself "boxed in" by not looking far enough ahead.

    2) He was so close to the bus there was no chance the bus driver could have seen him in his mirrors.

    3) The bus physically had nowhere to go. So the police car could have made 10 times the noise and it wouldn't have made a jot of difference!!

I'm guessing - as it's a police Astra - the driver has only had the basic level of training. "Basic" sums up the standard of his driving too!!

  • @BandAidUK You pretty much summarized what I was going to say, thanks

  • @BandAidUK point 1 you made. Have you seen the london streets? You cant see much far ahead, especially with all them junctions and bends. 3 the bus cud have moved to the side of the roundabout as he was stopped at lights, he cud have part mounted the pavement, there was no pedestrians next to him. point 2, i probably agree with you, however the police car and the bus were both moving prior, and the bus driver had plenty of time to see him (if not hear him).

  • One of my favs of your vids, any idea of what siren it is?

  • @PoliceAmbulanceFire Thanks mate its a Whelen siren.

  • Jizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • I'd love to see the video from the camera inside the car.

  • @simstorial Lol, no camera in this car unfortunatly

  • Great Video!

  • @centexfirerescue Thanks!

  • move ya bitches

  • Just.... LOL

  • @CentralBCC LOL

  • cant blame the bus driver 100%

keep in mind the streets are tight and he has a big vehicle

he probably had no where to move which is why he remained there

  • question is could the driver see him in his mirrors? the car was very close to back of bus, could have been i can hear him but can't see him

  • @markusgl1 I would say he would have seen him approaching

  • HAHA , lazy bus drivers.

  • @TheThomasTT Yeah!!

  • If I was in the officers position I would have got out of the car ran to the driver and then he would have moved

  • @Thirdwatchandgta Haha if only

  • Gordon Bennett! That bus driver must be flipping deaf...

  • @EliteCaptainGadget Yeah lol

  • Lol xd , nice vid mate!

  • @MrSupersam14 Thanks :)

  • GREAT

  • @hva1967 Cheers

  • nice if u was driving the car i would be so pissed off . could see he cut him up at the end :)

  • @thebarrettgod Haha

  • Christ that's some stunning siren work.

  • @NicolaiBavnbek Haha it certainly is

  • Oh...my.....god! That's bludie fantastic!

  • @bosco1013 Thanks mate.. glad you like it as much as I do lol!

  • Great Video, if the drived used this much bullhorn it must have been for a good reason!!!

  • @MagaHarry17 Indeed!

  • I dont think the bus driver had a good excuse not to move, i bet he just werent paying attention. I must say this was the nicest video yes :D

  • @RascarDK Haha thanks :)

  • Haha wow, great video... why on earth didn't the bus driver move?! there was no traffic in front of it!

  • @Jackus2008 Because he's an idiot mate lol!

  • Some nice uploads there. Although breaking the law is not excused by moving for an emergency vehicle.

  • @policeblue999 Thanks!

  • had to watch this again lol, love the bit from 0:36 when the siren goes mental

  • @modelearth Lol I have watched it many times

  • in all fairness there was little/nothing the bus driver could do, i love the bullhorn though and if im not mistaken thats traf sq :)

  • @modelearth Not quite.. the bus had plenty of space and time to move out of the way.. there was no traffic in its path and all the pedestrians were stunned looking at the Astra so they werent an issue either!

  • @BlueLightVids ah yeah - you cant always tell these things from vids, still i dont envy the bus driver thats an awful big vehicle to maneuver

  • another excellent catch! i wish i could get them like this lol.

whereabouts was this? and when did you go to london?

  • @modelearth Thanks this is Trafalgar Square
