Well you're definitely right. Friends keep telling me that my voice changes considerably when I sing in another language or accent, this might be true and comes unconsciously. I tend to believe that it's got more to do with the music and the story told, not sure about it, though...
Oh, das ist ein großes Kompliment, eigentlich ist es ja immereher peinlich, wenn man das nachmacht, aber da Lied ist einfach zu gut und es gab keine Version auf YT. Ich kann die verschiedenen Regionen auch nur schwer auseinanderhalten... Krieg gerade noch Tirol und Oberösterreich auseinander ;-)

Hi Shane, thanks a lot: I listened to the original recording again and I guess it's more the way I play it that make it sound like stary night, but I agree: Even though it's similar it's a nice tune.
Dialekt sehr wohl wahnsinnig gut imitiert! Jeder der was anderes sagt solls selbst probieren!

Ja,das freut mich sehr, vielen Dank. Das ist einer 12saitige mit Chorus, sie setzt schon leicht ab der 2. Strophe ein, hört man aber kaum
