They removed a murderous dictator and tried to give the people a chance at democracy and a modern state. They put themselves in harms way to help others. The US saved Europes freedom twice already and created a modern succesfull states in Japan and SouthKorea. Canada voted to go to Iraq if the UN sactiones it and they are in Afghanistan. Plus many other countries also helped in the war against Saddam.

If you listen carefully to the documentry you will see that the Iraqis killed were most often by insugents not the coallition forces. If the insurgents stop what they are doing the US will leave but if the US just leaves the insurgents will continue with suicide bombings and attacking civilians.
