L200 Vegetable Oil Converson

I have a 300td defender 90 converted, I used a pollak valve so don't have the purge option. What injector pump does the engine have?

I thought instead of purge mode you could just switch it to deisel and run it on that for a few miles and that would rid the injectors/pump of veg oil?

Where did you get the switchable valves from....im assuming the heat exchanger is from a central heating boiler or was it bought from a supplier just for veg oil use ?
