we already have them. The question is, will we use them? They're running them in controlled circuits in races and test runs. Cars that use lasers, or cameras and software, or both, or embedded sensors in the road, etc. There's a bunch of options. The problem is that people like driving, even when they can't drive well.

The music is fantastic in this ad. It was composed and produced by a company called HUM (humit-dot-com). You can see the ad there by going to the main index, select Reel then select Current Reel Spring 2007. It's the second one in the list. They also have a bunch of other very cool car ads they composed music for - the Cadillac "Drumline" ad is very cool.
