i always vacation right at that beach . btw i know the top comments were a joke but thats not the beach where the tv show hangs out. that beach is near that place nut its acouple miles away from that beach. but thats actuallyt pretty close. i vacation at the beach where the jersey shore people are at too. 1nce i met pauly d. i talk about it in my 42nd vid. and if anyvbody reads this you probaly dont care at all

I almost got eaten by this thing! I'm a lifeguard on barrier island, between the Brick public beaches, later in the day around 3pm the whale was much closer to shore in front of my beach, close enough that I thought it a good idea to take the paddle board out to it.. Turns out I paddled right into a school of bluefish, which the whale was breaching for.. The whale jumped 1/2 way outa the water no more than 10 yards to the side of me! The wave knocked me over! Coolest/scariest thing of my life!

I love the Jersey shore! New York beaches are dirty and you cant see any sea life unless you go out for hours in a boat! This is awesome!

Fabulous pixs; I'm a whale watcher and have seen them in ALaska, Baja, New Zealand, Maine, but NEVER this dramatic and so close.

I saw a whale playing off the shore of Belmar on Thursday...I saw it "waving" and spraying...so cool. I went back on Saturday but I didn't see anything! :-(

@AlienAirDive sorry. the audio was terrible, hence the music. mostly vhf radio and coast guard chatter, the dog was panting. it was bad. we'll do better next time.
