I always start doing either a French or Dutch braid, then end up accidentally switching halfway through, so my braid looks all wobbly and crooked :S

Woahh this is weird, but, I just realised that I have a habit of automatically doing a dutch braid for some reason.... when I'm braiding the top part of my head I just always put the pieces under instead of over, but when I'm doing a low side braid I do it normally.... that's so weird o_o

Well, I've got no idea why this is called a dutch braid, cause I've never seen it before and I'm dutch. It looks a bit like 'invlechten' but then on top of your head.

But it looks beautiful, really. I wish I had those long black locks, but I've got to settle with my fuzzy blonde cut, poor me.

question?: do you have to have your hair straight in order to achieve "perfect" looking braids and then curl your hair to style it up or can you have wavy/curly hair and do the braid?

cause my main problem are my baby hairs and its hard to keep them down at times...
