The only way to run this on next consoles generation is to put proper hardware in them, If so, don't expect to get one under $1000 since consoles are always overpriced.

If Nvidia adds Project Denver to their cards then parts(like physics) or all of the games code could run on the graphics card.. By side stepping DX and interacting directly with the hardware there could be a huge performance boost. That is if Denver shapes up to be a good asymmetrical multiprocessor. ARM is on the rise, with 9 out of 10 chips using it.

Any game devoleper can make graphics like this. The only problem is if you can play a game and get more than .5 FPS withought having a $1000 graphics card.

@SolidTube911 there will be some significant graphical changes, with the help of dx11 and tesselation and such. But i think how games will change is in terms of scale....Many games today (especially FPS's) Are very linear and the maps are small...this is due to the fact that consoles have very low memory/RAM. Also draw distances will be much larger and there will be less pop ins. It might not seem much of a step forward but all these small things can make a nice difference in the end.
@ckooken significant isnt the term i would use but noticeable differences as u have described such as draw distances, higher texture and more ram to make games bigger in terms of what is possible. This how ever doesnt change the fact that looking at recent high end graphics card and tech demos plus the games like BF3 on PC and comparing it to console with less power and ram, it just isnt a huge Leap as PS3 was over PS2. Yes, PC is more powerful but we have reached a limit to graphical advances

crysis 2 dx11 on PC looks better than killzone 3 and uncharted 3 and crysis 2 uses cryengine 3. crysis 1 on consoles and on PC looks better than those game's (and crysis 1 uses cryengine 2), wicther 2 on pc also look's pretty good. from the bf3 beta gameplay and footage I think there are mods for crysis wich look better than bf3. for cryengine 2 take a look at "Forest animation HD 720p Cryengine real-time Bokeh depth-of-field" on youtube and then tell me killzone 3 looks better.

Killzone 3 and uncharted 3 have way more polygons, way more detail. Killzone 3 is more detailed than crysis 2, then again crysis 2 is just flat walls(skyscrapers) and killzone it's all destruction so crysis 2 doesn't need more detail.
The only think crysis 2 has that's better than killzone 3 is the lighting and thats it, character models environments etc... all look better on killzone 3
well there not on PC. how do you know the graphics would be any better if they were on PC, your just assuming, I could say if halo 1 was made on a PC from 2020 it would wipe the floor with kz3 but it doesn't exist. anyway... if you put a v8 super charged engine in a Preis it would beat your average sports car but that has not happened, and even if you did that a buggati would still win. have you somehow travelled to a parallel universe and seen it made on PC?, no then how do you know?

Halo 1 doesn't look that good on consoles let alone pc and there is alot less detail in the game than battlefield 3 so put in dx11 and 1080p, bf3 and cr2 still look betr
I am saying if they theoretically remade halo 1 on a super computer from 2020 it would look better. but they have not and are not going to. almost all DX11 games on PC have more polygone's than killzone 3 or any console game because of DX11. if they made killzone 3 on pc how do you know they would not just leave it as dx9. DX11 doesn't increase polygon count it makes textures better quality objects sharper lighting and shadows sharper and better etc... not increase polygons. Crysis 2 didn't even come out with DX11, dx11 came with a patch. If killzone 3 was on pc and it had dx11 1080p it would destroy bf3 and cr2 graphics wise.

@Samzsite yeh but seriously i can't tell huge differences between PC and Console graphics and ive seen BF3 and cysis in ULTRA setting on GTX 580. Next gen, it wont be about graphics but just power. We wont see the massive leap next gen as we have seen between ps2 and ps3.

@SolidTube911 there will be some significant graphical changes, with the help of dx11 and tesselation and such. But i think how games will change is in terms of scale....Many games today (especially FPS's) Are very linear and the maps are small...this is due to the fact that consoles have very low memory/RAM. Also draw distances will be much larger and there will be less pop ins. It might not seem much of a step forward but all these small things can make a nice difference in the end.

@ckooken significant isnt the term i would use but noticeable differences as u have described such as draw distances, higher texture and more ram to make games bigger in terms of what is possible. This how ever doesnt change the fact that looking at recent high end graphics card and tech demos plus the games like BF3 on PC and comparing it to console with less power and ram, it just isnt a huge Leap as PS3 was over PS2. Yes, PC is more powerful but we have reached a limit to graphical advances

crysis 2 dx11 on PC looks better than killzone 3 and uncharted 3 and crysis 2 uses cryengine 3. crysis 1 on consoles and on PC looks better than those game's (and crysis 1 uses cryengine 2), wicther 2 on pc also look's pretty good. from the bf3 beta gameplay and footage I think there are mods for crysis wich look better than bf3. for cryengine 2 take a look at "Forest animation HD 720p Cryengine real-time Bokeh depth-of-field" on youtube and then tell me killzone 3 looks better.

@legendp2011 No you do not understand, killzone 3 on ps3 uncharted 2-3 on ps3 are the best looking console games so far, better than crysis 2 on consoles and better than bf3 on consoles.
If killzone was on pc it would run dx11 1080p 60fps and that my fellow gamer would blow the floor with crysis 2 or bf3 Killzone 3 beats any console game or console version of any game like crysis 2 or battlefield 3 if it were on pc it owuld also get graphics mods but with or without thm killzone 3 best graphics.

Killzone 3 and uncharted 3 have way more polygons, way more detail. Killzone 3 is more detailed than crysis 2, then again crysis 2 is just flat walls(skyscrapers) and killzone it's all destruction so crysis 2 doesn't need more detail.
The only think crysis 2 has that's better than killzone 3 is the lighting and thats it, character models environments etc... all look better on killzone 3

well there not on PC. how do you know the graphics would be any better if they were on PC, your just assuming, I could say if halo 1 was made on a PC from 2020 it would wipe the floor with kz3 but it doesn't exist. anyway... if you put a v8 super charged engine in a Preis it would beat your average sports car but that has not happened, and even if you did that a buggati would still win. have you somehow travelled to a parallel universe and seen it made on PC?, no then how do you know?

Killzone 3 has more polygons and much more detail, so in that sense it already looks better than battlefield 3 an d crysis 2. Only think that makes battlefield 3, crysis 2 on pc look better is dx11 1080p 60fps. If killzone 3-uncharted 2had that it would wipe the floor with them.
Halo 1 doesn't look that good on consoles let alone pc and there is alot less detail in the game than battlefield 3 so put in dx11 and 1080p, bf3 and cr2 still look betr

I am saying if they theoretically remade halo 1 on a super computer from 2020 it would look better. but they have not and are not going to. almost all DX11 games on PC have more polygone's than killzone 3 or any console game because of DX11. if they made killzone 3 on pc how do you know they would not just leave it as dx9. I could say if crysis 2 was made ONLY on PC it would look 10x better than anything else but it wasn't and how would we know it would look any better at all.

DX11 doesn't increase polygon count it makes textures better quality objects sharper lighting and shadows sharper and better etc... not increase polygons. Crysis 2 didn't even come out with DX11, dx11 came with a patch. If killzone 3 was on pc and it had dx11 1080p it would destroy bf3 and cr2 graphics wise.
