  • @ToMarksnotebook it is unconstitutional if they search your car without permission, BUT when the cop asks if he can search your car and you say "go ahead" then you lose your 4th amendment right. Now if you say no and they look in your car it is considered an illegal search and whatever they find is not admissable in court due to the exclusionary rule.   • In todays world one does not know if the cop is a liar or will suppress evidence as they do it all the time. Its not like it use to be. Cops today are not honest.....remember years ago how they poked fun of deputies on Andy Griffith, Dukes of Hazzard? there was a reason---they are not the brightest bulbs on the block but now they are deliberately fishing for DUIs and doing all sorts of unconstitutional things like searching a person at the site which is against the 4th amendment!

  • the driver was diabetic and was not fully aware of the situation and what was happening. glad to see the Trooper had patience and didn't jump to the conclusion that the man was drunk.
