True, it is slow, but this is developmental hardware and software. No doubt they're running in debug mode (which alone can bog down any program), they're also running experimental code. Stuff like this takes months and months of debugging and coding to work, let alone streamline the code to make it run faster. There's a reason why Natal is not on the market right now. They're still working on it :P

I think it looks real. The camera seems to be responding exactly to his hands. The E-button (use-button in HL 2 and other source games) doesn't seem te be working very well, so I guess the gesture-to-button converting still needs a bit of work, but it looks promising.
