I read that Doc Rivers put all his starters midway through the 3rd or early in the 4th and left them there. It worked (LAL down 13) until BOS got tired.

When the Lakers lose, they own up to it, when the celtics lose, they make excuses, blame the refs, perkins injury, even though Bynum was hurt for the Lakers. That's why the Lakers have won 5 titles since 2000 & the celtics have 1 title since 1986.

EVERY WINNER WON THE REBOUNDING STAT FOR THE SERIES. This nonsense of the rigged ending is for the intellectually dishonest and for those who really don't like to do their homework. Did the refs make the Celts heave bad shot after bad shot in the closing moments? Did the refs hold 1 of KG's arms behind when rebounding?NO

@ProSportsFanatic94 I guess you failed to look at the 1st half where the Lakers did not get the calls and often got man handled with little or no whistles. That aside, it's not much more than laziness to toss this conspiracy as it fails to account for the Celtics taking the foot off the peddle in that 4th qtr. In fact, The Lakers out scored the Celtics in every qtr since the 1st. They also out rebounded the Celts in a series where every game winner won that stat. Not mention the missed shot.

@RealdeaI232005 I guess it's easier to cling to the conspiracy notion rather than actually digging and looking at the whole game. LA outscored BOS in every qtr since the 1st. They won the rebounding in the game by a big margin and won the series stat just like every other winner since 1999 until the '11 Mavs. Bos was also one of the worst offending fouling teams in '10. LA was one of the least. And the refs did not make BOS make bad shots in the 4th. When they missed they failed to rebound.
