I hate that the world has gone so PC mad these days. There was nothing ever "dirty" or "homosexual" about Burt and Ernie when i was a kid. The fact that they removed them and Oscar from the show(as well as others) ; and then renamed it just seems stupid and unnecessary to me. I mean, sure, shows change... but its just a bit too much to take sometimes.

Yeah. That's what I loved about Sesame Street in the old days. There could be a goof up during filming but they would just leave it in anyways and cleverly cover it up. Like in this one how Bert quickly says "Everybody's happy!" that was great! Nowadays, they would just do take after take till they got it perfect. I don't know how anyone can like the sesame street of today. If you ask me, it lost it's magic about 15 years ago and hasn't been the same since.
