  • Amazing!

  • very cool dudes! NICE GROOVE PETE!

  • any chance you have a pdf or midi of the piano transcription

  • NICE PLAY!

  • Perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Really very very close to the original by Oscar Peterson on his first MPS-album called "Action". The cow bell of the drummer lacks a bit of accuracy.

But all in all: a perfect copy !!

  • Amazing! I love all the left hand work by Moyer! So quick but smooth

  • Outstanding! Thank you so much ---

  • Hello! you are very wonderful! I wish to play tin tin deo in this version. Can you send your score with Peterson's solo? If you want I will send you my e-mailling address. Thanks a lot. Peppecammy

  • where are you from man? I was feelin you on that piano man!

  • Oscar II.

  • wow ... amazing... and ...

I just noticed you'll be bringing out a CD soon...

that is one I will go searching for!

If you ever provide the piano transcription in any form, I go out and buy that as well.

  • my son and I were just out of curiosity browsing youtube and my son said: try tin tin deo - it's our favorite...

Well - we were in for a treat ! Great play and very very close to the original - great transcribe!

Would you be so kind to provide the sheet music for this gem? Maybe I will need to practice for years - but my 10 year old still has a real chance.

now I am off searching for more from you guys!

    thanks!

  • this was awsome i love it jazz is so beautiful

  • OTTIMO!!

  • my favorite OP song, played great!

  • What can I say? This is an absolutely amazing performance, and an even more astonishing feat of transcription!

I first became acquainted with the Oscar Peterson Trio through the "Action" LP which I found in my grandfather's record collection shortly after he died back in the early eighties. I was gobsmacked by this number, and tried to transcribe the piano part myself - succeeding only in getting down the opening octaves!

  • Wow,so sweet,I realy need the sheet.can anyone help me?pls

  • Fred, totally awesome! When are you heading back to NC? Its has been too long. 4 years--I was on crutches so I know just when it was that you were in Salisbury.

  • i've listened to this so many times it will wear out.

  • that's great. are you planning to record any new videos? i'd really like to hear more from you.

  • "Great Connection" is also a good album I've got here. Anyway, the more I hear from OP, the more I like him (just discovered the album "Skol" for example..). I also play the piano, and as "Tin Tin Deo" is THE music I like the best till now I would like to know if you could send me your transcription.. I would love to get the chance to play it in the piano! You would surely make my life better! Greetings from Portugal (Oporto)! Wish you the nest, and keep it up!

  • God! It's unbelievable..! It's so close to the original! I am a recent huge fan of Oscar Peterson. I started with the "Action" LP 'cause my father had it in his collection, and I am kind of re-organizing and re-discovering it.

  • Did you transcribe this yourself? Its really good. Can you transcribe His Piano Solo recording Mirage I've been trying to transcribe it myself just by listening and watching his live performance but it just doesn't sound the same. I would pay for a transcription of that song onto sheet music.

  • Subarasii!!!

  • Wow! Perfect transcription and playing!

  • Goodness me.. That was near perfect! Thanks so much! This tune is one of my all time favorites by Oscar's Trio - this one is originally from the ACTION album, recorded for a special series in Germany..

  • Could you please send your transcriptions te me? I'm such a HUGE fan of Oscar. It would be very nice!

  • Yes , recorded on the 2th of june to be more precise.

In 1992, when I asked him to play on my wedding, I got a letter from his wife, he wasn't able because of various reasons, i.e. an answer from his wife doesn't necessarily mean that he is not OK, but the years go by, also for him. Maybe she told you more, but I think it is wise to keep that for yourself.

My comment on your other performance is in German, because of your names I thought that was the right language. Excuse me.

  • very impressive. Does Oscar Peterson know what you guys are doing? Did he react? I'm curious.

List of gifts wanted (Wünschzettel): You are my sunshine (OP and Ray Brown 1972) .

  • Thanks for the nice comment. Yes, we each took it off the record.

  • Great playing! Perfect copy. Including the feeling into the music, which often gets lost by playing transcriptions.

Did you make the transcription yourself? I'm very interested!
