Hell yeah I heard about that pouch and that's in my area of Cincinnati... I have a Chihauhua and man he, George, is looking at me like he wants to get out of here!!!!
Shit like this really gets me angry! How would they like it if someone shot their dog - NO their kids dog (The Cops), like sometimes the power goes too their heads! They should really really check out who can get guns and tasers! Like fuck I don't feel safe knowing people like this are "Protecting" us. I'm scared for Marie Antoinette now (My pug) and I live in LA (brentwood) and there are many..."Bad" cops, so what COULD happen too her!? God what the hell is happening too the world!!?? lol.
Then we have more out of control police and a pathetic pawn that still does not understand what she did. Thanks for calling these stories to our attention.
Threatened by a chihuahua? Tazing grandma in Texas? L.E. no regrets? Haze filled skies from chemcloud pollution every day? More & more what passes for normal would have brought outrage 10 years ago & should now.
@ least elsewhere when an election is stolen, citizens don't just go watch American Idol.
Ella, thank you for what you do. Now I'm going back outside & dsip in the pond. After an hour of news, a couple of my favorite vloggers & a hard swim is all that can make me feel clean again.
Police have no business trying to 'contain' a dog or any other animal. There are trained professions to deal with that sort of thing. If the town has no animal care and control department, I might suggest the yellow pages.
She was imprisoned in my town of Killeen. If she is still in the area I have no problem taking a camera and getting in her face. If you have info on where I can find her pm me I have a new video camera on order and that would be a good way to test it.
Too late. The story mentioned that she was back in her hometown someplace in Virginia. I'll try to find the story for you...it's somewhere on my hard-drive. Once I find it again, I'll send you the link.
"The taser didn't work, and neither did the first two gunshots."
Uh ..... wow. The dog stands 8 inches off the ground. If you don't want your hand to be bit, don't bend over and put it in front of the dog's face. I still can't believe two cops felt so threated by a six pound dog that they had to taze it and shoot it. What's really irritating is how the whole department has to get behind them instead of applying a little common sense and admitting what they did was wrong.

Now, imagine if the police were accountable to us, the people whom they are supposed to "protect and serve." That dog would have never been killed.

Oh, that poor barking boy... No choice?! Right.
Police undoubtedly have a hard job, but sometimes they are just whacko!
Re: the book-deal story about Ms. England: (to quote Charlie Brown) I can't stand it!

Hmmmm, that Officer must have been a crack shot to pump some lead into a Chiwawa.
At least they left a note for the young man so he can remember how his little dog met his untimely end. Nice of them to do that.

that poor little dog. and as for the "official police version" a most ridiculous story.
I'm sorry for the family that the police left their dog bullet riddled and dead for them.
