Canton Jones music is uplifting. The lyrics is what we should be focusing on not just the beat or music. If we can get young children and teenagers shouting the words Jesus and other biblical words than we are on the right road of saving our children. In our world of today, we have to use some of the same tools that the devil use to reach young people for their good. Canton Jones message is the same as other christians which is to save soul, but his approaches may be different.
There are a good few churches who do not believe you can praise God in rap, rock, pop, r&b, etc, but Canton said no matter what style of music it is, if the Word comes forth in it, then it is the Gospel. I love my brother and I pray he continues in the success Christ has given him. It is a long and hard road, but we need to take our youth back. There are many roads you can go down, but there is only one way up.
i went to his one of his concerts just this pass week im 18 n is on fire for good its not like they was out grinding n dancin on eachother at least our youth is dancing for god n not out in da club shakin it for some rapper let them praise god for he said come as you are

There is one thing to do something and then to do something in your anointing...Canton Jones is anointed, if you watch all videos and his appearances the entire congregation participates...that's anointing...any other time you know how the "already arrived saints would be" It don't take all that. They'd say...however when the anointing is upon you "style" doesn't matter.
I think that Canton Jones is great, if you watch some of his other videos on here, you'll see he has a passion for God and that is evident in his music. God made us all different and we all have different music tastes so it's nice to have a Christian version of all genres. While it's true you do have to be careful of getting involved into other rap music that's not good, that could be said of every style Christian music not just rap, there's a worldly version to all of it. There are a good few churches who do not believe you can praise God in rap, rock, pop, r&b, etc, but Canton said no matter what style of music it is, if the Word comes forth in it, then it is the Gospel. I love my brother and I pray he continues in the success Christ has given him. It is a long and hard road, but we need to take our youth back. There are many roads you can go down, but there is only one way up.

Just like me, you still have more understanding of the word. You don't have to wear a suit or blazer to praise and worship god. Come as you are, saying "Wear your best or whatever your best is at that time", A lot of them kids don't have a dress outfit. So khakis ok and a nice shirt. Plus do you understand this was a party? That's what your not suppose to be doing is judge in the flesh. Your not seeing what your doing is wrong and that will hinder you . Anything that seem wrong or don't sound right is not of the spirit talking. I'm not go judge people regardless, let alone that molester. He/she is bound by evil, so the sensible thing to do is supervise. But your mind is set in one way. I can't quote scripture, chapter, verse. But what I do know is the word. You read the scripture and did not understand what you were reading. If you are reading the King James Version which is a little harder to understand then maybe you need a Bible that breaks it down more. People that quote scriptures really do not understand what they're reading. If you know and understand the scripture then when you are explaining something the Holy Spirit leads you. Just read them two scriptures again!

Everything that canton jones is doing is positive, and it's for god. i dont see him up there worshiping the devil. I'm a Pentecostal and I love what he is doing for god. I seen a interview he had. he talked about how he would do what he needed to reach people. Everyone working for god has a target audience so they work that area dont blast him, what are you doing for god are you making difference in your community. We should check ourselves before we put someone else on blast.

For those saying this is not Godly - can you provide Scripture that supports such claims according to HIS understanding and not your own OR can you honestly say that the Spirit has led you to this revalation? Bottom line is that we need to be focused on winning souls instead of sending souls to our personally created damnation. That's what we all should do. The bible say's come as you are. Too many holy rollers don't let people have a chance to develop in the things of God. How ever the spirit moves you is one thing but I too disagree with all hip dancing. None of them dancing is really singing the song they just reacting to the beat. The elderly are singing the song.

twotonetmw...i disagree with you it does not matter what type of music it is as long as the message of the song uplifting the name of JESUS...im glad the young people are reacting to the music in the church instead of the music in the streets in the club...let the young people be young and enjoy there way of worshipping JESUS..stop putting them down for being a youth..encourage them to move higher in the lord..GOD BLESS U!!!

There is one thing to do something and then to do something in your anointing...Canton Jones is anointed, if you watch all videos and his appearances the entire congregation participates...that's anointing...any other time you know how the "already arrived saints would be" It don't take all that. They'd say...however when the anointing is upon you "style" doesn't matter.

I think that Canton Jones is great, if you watch some of his other videos on here, you'll see he has a passion for God and that is evident in his music. God made us all different and we all have different music tastes so it's nice to have a Christian version of all genres. While it's true you do have to be careful of getting involved into other rap music that's not good, that could be said of every style Christian music not just rap, there's a worldly version to all of it. Get Your Praise On!!!

its all good to praise God in a totally different way and all. but there are some people that have grown up in the church and have kept themselves away from the influence of hiphop. those people can be enticed to develop an ear for that kind of music and end up in the clubs because satan uses small seeds to lead to people astray. This genre of music is a seed and we need to be careful because not everyone is strong enough to avoid being influenced

i'd rather be in the market place evangelising than having "gospel music" which is entertaining but doesn't develop me spiritually nor help me to cast out demons and tread on scorpions. these days we have too many christians who know about the latest gospel music but can't prophesy nor do they allow God to annoint them. We need to praise God when we save people from hell as opposed to entertainment... just my suggestion

as a teen, i see and watch these things. I understand what you mean by using gospel music to minister...and dnt get me wrong, that's what it's all about to lift up and praise the name of Jesus. but why is it that we look at secular music as entertaining but gospel music isnt allowed to be entertaining the people of Christ?

That's whats concerning, the fact that we want to be entertained. We should be praising God and now entertaining ourselves. A lot of christians love to listen to gospel music and look all holy holy but don't feed the sick, don't help the need and I don't see how gospel r&b will quite do that. But hey, if you feel that it makes you love God more then go ahead

Sandwichappy, ofcos we should listen to the holy spirit. But i think atimes "we" (not necessarily d spirit in us) tend to be so judgemental so we act & talk like we have all the answers but we dont! God is the only one that knows it all. we could carry on this debate but my prayer is that God help us all and open our eyes to see right from wrong. Amen.

either u have never been to real club or u have been in church way too long to remember what its like, 'cause trust me man...that is NOT how they dance.
i was raised Mormon and TPH has produced volumes of false anti-mormon literature. i've also had members of TPH tell me "Mormons are'nt saved man, you're not saved", and it was always in a more vehement than Christlike manner.
but idc cuz God looks upon the heart and accepts praise from any sincere individual.

case1show, judging from ur comment, u and i would agree that reverance is more condusive to the promptings of the HolySpirit. and while i would be curious to know ur definition of "TRUE HOLYNESS", i can assure u it would be different than mine, and that mine would be dif from the people in this video, and that their idea of "true holyness" would even differ amongst themselves. but with so many modern forces being used to openly fight against God, we should appreciate any that assume his favor.
