@Craydon duct tape works the best for that, if thats too low class for you just sew it with a really heavy needle right onto the outsole or just buy new ones.

@1223dude1223 I already duck taped them, a tip for you if you pull up the outer layer of cloth you can tape away and then pull the cloth over it to hide most of the tape.

No point in buying new shoes when fall then winter is right around the corner and I'll be wearing my boots I keep watertight with hot glue.

I tried something along these lines last summer with $5 Walmart canvas shoes and it didn't work. I left the bleach on forever and it didn't do a damn thing. I was pissed. So, I just used white fabric paint for a slightly different result.

Was I doing something wrong or is there a certain bleach pen that works on these things that I didn't use? I used a Clorox bleach pen and the shoes were a dark blue color, almost black. I tried scrubbing the area I wanted bleached to very little success.

So if you let it sit and do not touch it! You will get white lines and things, but they will not spread and get all nasty
