  • that would be awesome for hunting ;D

  • @BulletCastDuo yes , by the 3rd hand .

  • @528jkl you dont have to fire while flying? but you could easy reach regions wher you cant drive by car!

  • That little boy looks easy to fly, but it takes a ot of skills to fly it. Las tiem went to ask for helicopter flying lessons, they were about $60,000.00 and more. This is the machine for the future, not to worry about traffic, or a runway to land. If I get one, will land that thing on my house's roof! Thanks to this pilot for a great video, love it!

  • thats awesome..how long can you fly with a tank of fuel?

  • very cool man .

  • Bad video, take-off is missing..

  • I hope your wife has good insurance on you..

  • nice thing is that when you kill yourself in it, they just sweep it all up and it takes no more ground space than a regular coffin.

  • well its great

  • Sexy little chopper!!

  • so that would be like the simplest way to get "hurt"

  • @60viking

The Hindenburg was a fast, gargantuan, 800-foot rigid cruise liner filled with Hydrogen despite being designed for Helium. That's why she caught fire, she wasn't properly converted. Comparing her to what is essentially a small blimp-shaped motorized hot air balloon is like comparing the Titanic to an inflatable kayak.

  • ***excellent***

  • It looks like a big rc model.

  • very good job flying it.cool little chopper.

  • That was terrific. You're pretty smooth with those controls as well. I thought when you cranked it up it sounds just like my snowmachine. Don't listen to the skeptics though, you could die sitting in a recliner choking on a cheese puff.

  • no chance of death in a air ship somebody said, how do you spell hindenberg?

  • @aliymz

Conceivably, someone could jump out of one mid-flight, strangle themselves on the seat belt, land in a volcano, etc. but I thought that went without saying. My point being, hundreds and hundreds of hot air airships have been operating since the 70's without injury. Can you say the same about tiny helicoters?

  • I want one so bad, have for several years but just cant afford it.....

  • that seat looks like it came out of library for little kids, or a cafetaria.

Can you actually fly one of these things around a large metropolitan area....??

  • that seat looks like it came out of library for little kids, or a cafetaria

  • That thing sure is... Exciting. Sorry, I think I'll be taking the mini thermal airship.

Mosquito: cool, possible death, noisy, $26k, and you have to build the damn thing yourself.

Hot airship: super cool, no chance of death, less noisy, stays up longer, prebuilt, $40k, and best of all people pay you to advertise with it!

  • @Jjames763 "no chance of death" that is ridiculous statement. NO chance? PLEASE explain why there is NO chance of death in a hot airship...PLEASEEEEEEE explain..moron

  • could you fit one of these with floats

  • Imagine that! Flying in your very own 1/2-scale model helicopter!

  • nice fuselage very nice flight

  • galera olem meu canal ai porvavorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  • Awesome!

  • he fly without helmet??!?!

  • that looks fun i want one

  • THIS LOOK NICE TO MY EYES!!!~~ GREAT ,REALLY GREAT!!! VERY CREATIVE

  • now that looks like a proper mosquito heli

  • Log enough hours in that thing and you'll die for sure, but on a coolness scale, I'd definitely give it a 10! Hour many hours will it stay aloft on a full tank, and at what ceiling?

  • 3:39

  • heyyy , i liked buy this helicopter

  • interesting way to die

  • Get to the choppa!

  • 75% scale Rc helicopter:D! Nice heli very very sexy heli

  • Quelle altitude, quelle autonomie? Quel prix?

  • Elicóptero de uso pessoal, na verdade é um conceito de veiculo próprio de locomoção como um carro. incrível. muito bom

  • i high can u fly and how fast?

  • Some day I will have one of this things. It is freedom at its best! Grate video

  • were can i get this? how much? and how long can you fly it for? and how much gas do you put in it? is it easy to fly? can i fly it on the 1st try

  • This would be great for deer hunting if the helicopter was equipped with a gun pod.

  • i like this helicopter, the question is how much is one, and were can a get it were are sale them

  • it could double as a weed whacker!

  • can you inmagine buy sweet heart i going to work sweet lol

  • What is the max range?

  • this thing will do about 70 mph.

  • I want one. I love to fly, I am abut 7-8 hr for my fixed wing private

  • how big is your gas tank and how far can you go with only one tank ?

  • Why don't they make one with a small turbine motor?...Or do they...Is it classified as an ultra-lite?

  • what bothers me is that you dont fasten ur seatbelt anywhere XD

  • how much??

  • When will they make a FAT GUY One that will carry a 350lb Pilot and not just a 220lb one it will only carry now ??????

  • how much are these they look great i rode in a r 44 thats too much money

for me these look better to train with

  • i think they should put in a 4stroker with a bit more power.

Unfortinaly I guess that would take away the ultralight class stamp it now has. But i don't care, there is no ultralight class in my country, i think. i would just fly it anyway far away on the countryside.

  • lol, its so small, it looks like a giant rc helicopter.

  • how long is the flight training for a mosquito XE

  • thats sick

  • are there high performance version of these mini copters?

  • It's a radio controlled helicopter to a larger scale, can be handled safely from a remote control, even with is passing up

  • any idea what happened to the company that makes these? the website doesnt exist any more

  • yess it does

  • lol, i just checked it again... at the time it was down... what a coincidence

  • A small helicopter with no roll protection, and a 2 stroke motor.... hmmm.... no wonder why everyone keeps them in ground effect and doesn't go to far with them. they sound like death traps to be honest.

  • your a fag

  • Air force one bithces...emphasis on one.

  • we have come a long way in 30 plus years.

  • FUCK!!! for that price we but a fucked up car over here

  • It almost sounds like my RC helicopter during low rpm. :D

  • how much would you seell it for?

  • is it safe?

  • Brilliant! Looks like Allan was saying a little prayer when he got back down.

  • 2 stoke Engine?

    over heat problem ,

    but you fly so good.

  • Hmmmmmmmmm, nice video, but offhand, I didn't see the pilot wearing any kind of seatbelt or harness. A little risky.

  • Yes he had a seat belt. Look at 3:39 you can see him take it off.

Like the camera man said that is awesome!

  • one good thing it will fall slower back to earth

  • who wears short shorts? allen does

  • quiero tener uno :'(

  • In answer to gaines0629, the Mosquito XE is not an ultralight. You must possess a minimum of a private pilot rating to operate the aircraft. There is another Moquito model called the XEL which comes equipped with floats and does qualify as an ultralight. Even though the XEL doesn't require any license to fly, I highly, highly recommend that you get one before ever attemping to fly. My first attempt at hovering in an R-22 literally looked like I was riding a mechanical bull...

  • How much does it wiegh? plz answer

  • Can it haul my fat cow wife?

  • no cows

  • I needs it

  • shouldnt u let the motor warm up before putting it under ANY load??

  • I have to have one. Must you have a license or is there some leway with ultralights?

  • Can I have one or are we too communist now?

  • that didn't make any damn sense.

  • Sure it does. Since we aren't smart enough to think for ourselves the government will have to regulate us to death. We have to wear our seatbelts, helmets, etc. Manufacturors have to put stupid stickers explaining the obvious to keep morons from removing themselves from our gene pool. So why wouldn't the gov. keep us from owning cool toys like these?

  • okay, that does make a little more sense.

  • bello! ma quanto costa un giocattolo cosi? Marco Italia.

  • Looks like thoose blades are out of track seriously, that isnt safe... bad MT and no flight scr?

    Mosquitos are cool hellis

    (PPL -SE - EU) 200H+

  • How safe are these... Really! Are they suitable for a beginner?

  • I'm gonna get the extended warranty...

  • This thing is a 100 times better than the incredible helicopy Mini-500 helicoffin by Fetters Al Faris.

  • não vai muito longe

  • Queria oq??? Que fosse de SP a Brasília???

  • Mosquito, I was not suggesting anyone use a Rotax engine as I just don't believe they are reliable enough to trust your life to one. I know I wouldn't. That is why I suggested a Turbine engine like the T62T-32.. Having flown helicopters with turbine engines they are much more reliable than the gasoline engines. And from what I understand about those who have converted to turbine engines, they can fly them at full throttle all the time and never worry about anything.

  • turbine engines also cost a lot more to maintain

  • While that may be true, keep in mind that for most turbines, the TBO is 2500 hours with maybe a hot section check during that time. However, if you fly with a turbine with the FADEC fuel system computer, you can fly the hell out of the aircraft without having to pay attention to the fuel system monitor. Not only that, if you get your hands on a Solar T62 engine and use the FADEC system, you simply set the tthrottle at 100% and fly the bird which means less work for the pilot.

  • so i can buy this build it and fly it. i am doing it.

  • Allan, thanks for giving the Jesus nut a two time over before firing up the Rotax engine. However, I would suggest you go ahead and convert your Mosquito to a turbine mode with the T62T-32 turbine engine. There are a few of them available to purchase surplus for around $6500. If you think the Rotax is awesome, try a T62T-32 turbine. The ultimate because all U have to do is fly the helicopter without worrying about the power and with a 2500 TBO you will be flying for a long time. Think about it!

  • The T62T-32 wont fit. we can do the

T62T-2A however the MZ202 engine we use is reliable and gives us plenty of power

  • @MosquitoAviation Get off the MZ202's dick you can put other engines in it.Turbines have been done and they are better than your piece of shit engine that aint "cool".

  • @stoltz90 you sound like a real dick head

  • @stoltz90 HEY he can put whatever engine he wants in his helicopter IT IS HIS!

  • Fantastic!

    Lovely machine!

  • LMFAO!!!!

  • It is the moped of the skies!!!

  • He makes it look so easy. Too easy.

  • because it is that easy lol

  • are theses helicopters alowd in do land in the back of your yard even if u have niehgbors?

  • It's an ultralight, you don't need a pilot's license to fly it...or training, you can teach yourself + it's VERY affordable (airframe is only 2k!), I do recommend training, but these things are about as easy to fly as driving a mini cooper....Trust me, the FAA wouldn't put a category of unlicensed, unless some idiot would crash it. Yes, you can take off and land in your backyard, these things are VERY small, probably pickup sized, I have one. even if you have neighbors!

  • dont anyone even think about teach yourself to fly a heli, they are naturally unstable and you will crash.

  • I'm going to

  • see "helicopter crash new student with no instructor" on u tube

  • excuse me, but this is pure nonsense.

  • Training is very important, yes you dont need a licence to fly the utlralight version of the Mosquito, but its just stupid not to get to at least solo stage before flying it.

  • Yes, you can land it in your backyard if you live out of the city and have lots of room. However, if you live in the city, most likely power lines will be of major concern to you. However, if you live outside the city and have 10-20 acres, this would be the ultimate in getting to work transportation. That is, assuming you have trans. once you get to work. And you better believe, a lot of people would envy you..

  • Once, I landed a Bell 206B-III in the parking lot where my wife (at the time) worked and picked her up to take her to lunch at a restaurant 48 miles away then had her back after taking a a long lunch. (1.5 hrs. vs 1 hrs ) and every woman in that office envied her for that. Most of them thought it was so romantic for her husband to fly in, pick her up to take her to lunch. I don't know about romantic, but all of the women who worked with her envied her for what I did.

  • Did you get to shag any of her work mates?

  • @jimbob73514, in the ones I fly their is room for 4 of them, but only if they are good looking. And sometimes just for fun, I'll even let them fly. (Well, I let them take the Cyclic but I remain in control of the collective and the anti- torque pedals. No sense in crashing a perfectly good 206L4 or an AS350BIII.

  • i wañt one of this

  • unassembled there 28,000 assembled there 33,500

  • Thank's... i'm gonna sell my all rc and some members of my family to buy one -- hehehe... hugs

  • sweet lil' choppa'.

  • does it uses automotive gasoline for fuel?

  • yup.

  • Automotive Gasoline in a 2 stroke mix

  • It sounds like a chainsaw

  • It does a little ... would't mind one though!

  • lol flying chainsaws, u give me ideas :d

  • why is it that every video i see of this helicopter they never fly fast or high

  • Because you wouldnt see it at altitude, it will fly to 10,000ft AMSL though

  • And although I have NO idea what-so-ever that you and these other people are talking about, I just have to add that this thing is so worth having.

    :D

  • @ MosquitoAviation megustaria comprar uno donde los benden y cuestan micho algien mepuede informar gracias

  • Its not a Rotax, Its a MZ202 by Compact Radial Engines out of Vancouver

  • my jetski uses a Rotax 787, its never left me stranded but it fouls sparkplugs and you have to choke the hell out of it to run properly when its cold.and I wouldnt trust it to keep me in the air

  • what speed it can go?? and what altitude???

  • 80mph / 10k feet

  • oh..this is awesome...that is what i wANT to go to school...LOL xD

  • I know what i want for christmass!

  • why buy ?

  • When you can nick one :)

  • Fajna sprawa !

  • how much is tht helicopter?

  • is that thing detectable by radar?

  • Fine helicopter! In which category is it flown in the US? I write from Brazil (family name also Fink).

  • Which is the cost...?

  • Out of curiosity how tall are you?

  • see the Autorotation video in my video's

  • Autorotation is easy and reasonably docile in the Mosquito compared to a Robinson 22

  • whats it like in a autorotation?
