I don't understand why people gloat about how big their screens are if its hooked upto a console... The resolution stays the same... You say its 1080p... I hope you do know that the xbox and PS3 still game at around 480p right? So what your seeing is an oversized 480p game, not 1080p. (that's what your projector supports when watching BluRay's.)

A. You will get no realistic surround sound by having the front right and left speakers that close together, on either side of the centre...a total waste of time.

B. You have no screen....amateur mistake.

C. That image is about 80", not even close to 115". Easy to tell by the fact an interior door is 32" in width. Compared to that doors width, corner to corner i would say that image is no more than 85" max.

1. It's 115" diagonally. I promise. How would anyone know without being able to see it proportional to anything else? (i should have stood in front of it..lol). I measured it diagonally. 1onehundredand15fifteenINCHES!

2. I sold my xbox360 after 2+ years, i have a PS3 now. Both platforms are amazing. All games (almost all) are cross platform, so it doesn't matter what system you've got anymore ;-)

in my opinion there isnt much difference, i wouldnt recommened u buying it as u r waisting ur money if ur tv isnt 1080p (because u can display 1080p better through hdmi) and it also depends on the size of ur screen, if it is 32" and under then u wont see any more detail.

(ps. if u can afford one just buy a cheap hd projector for £300 if u want a better experience and u will never know y u didnt buy one in the first place :P)

Only PS3 works with 7.1 dolby digital. Xbox 360 can only use 5.1, I GUARANTEE YOU, PS3 can do everything better.... you are only using 5 of the 7 speakers if you are on Xbox 360.. 7.1=HD quality sound... another feature only possbile on PS3. : 0

I am working on a home theater right now, but for now i just have my two dj speakers hooked up to a 300 watt amp and they each weigh 100 lbs!! its hard to lift them some times haha and they sub is 15 inches on both of them. one time the police came to my door and they said people a block away called and complained haha my pictures on the wall rattle and its very good sound!! i use them for gigsthey are roland proffesional stage speakers!

Not true the older crt projectors are still the rolls-royce of projectors.Contrast ratios beyond 35,000 to 1.True blacks,correct fleshtones,resolution up to 2500+2000 lines well beyond any current hd tecnology.Try that with lcd or dlp, or lcos projector!!!!

I don't know where you're getting your information from, but it's wrong. You're right, they DID look alright, but take in effect that A: They were HUGE, B: No TRUE HD, C: VERY expensive, and D: Since I did some research on contrast ratio (Yes, I am admitting I was wrong in my last comment) Contrast ratios actually mean nothing. Also, why do you think theaters ONLY use DLP projectors? Exactly.

One more thing... And I'm not trying to be a dick, but, there really is no such thing as TRUE Blacks and correct fleshtones. Did you know a TV/projector with 20,000:1 contrast will look the same as one with 500:1? If you have a light on in the room, you will not see a difference. Very rarely is a home theater completely black, which it needs to be to see the difference. Also, most DLP projectors in theaters are actually only 500:1, crazy right?
