I'm one of Kylie's biggest fans: have been ever since her first album. AND- I have to say that Kylie likes to make pop music. It's her passion. She does it seamlessly. She's always on top of her game, and her last few albums have been flawless. She doesn't sell out, nor does she feel the need to add pointless "featured guests" on every other song (like many U.S. based artists tend to do). Kylie is just Kylie- and that's why we love her!

The Best thing about Monday night was Hugh Jackman was there and it was his birthday. I'm glad I got my ticket for half price because the light show and sound were spot on. Her and the dancers just dialed it in. More time was spent producing the blogs (which I did find hillarious in spots, especially her, Tony, the choreographer (who should be fired for how bad the dancers were compared to the past tours), and a lamp pole). Seems like her male dancers spent more time surfing their fan pages.

I have to say, after viewing this and other "impromptu moments", Ms. Minogue is indeed very relaxed BUT is it because this tour, the shows are only C-grade productions designed for an aging pop star?. There are ofcourse shows for small venues, then there are "small productions" You'd think Toronto deserved the "real deal". Are we so desperate, we got "the scraps"?

Read the part in my last comment concerning "kids". Go look at "Fever 2002" or even earlier , 2001's "Light Year" and try to tell me these weren't better shows. Madonna is great , but needs to lighten up and have fun with her audiences. We forget the Grand dame of tongue in cheek concerts. Cher !! Call it filler, call it what you like. I disagree that she is better in some way than Madonna. Madonna sings live just as much as Kylie does (please, Kylie sings live for sure, but it's not like she doesn't have vocal backing, too). I would say the main difference between the two is that Kylie is warm and ingratiating whereas Madonna is aloof and artsy. Both are great qualities for an amazing stage show.

Bull. Madonna treats her fans like an artist. She isn't as ingratiating as Kylie, but if she's no Kylie, Kylie's no Madonna. Sorry, but Kylie sings well and isn't afraid to sing live but uses just as much help as Madonna. There are plenty of times she appears to be singing and then pulls the mic away and the voice keeps going. It's not Britney/Janet/J.Lo level, but it's there.
