WTF? Silent Hill was full of ash and fog. The second world was full of rusty things, blood, chains etc. WTF happened to this game :/

It wasn't ash, it was snow, they said it many times, it's only ash in the movie. The rustiest pice of metal in SH2 was James' steel pipe, there was blood and dirt, but I do not recall any chains. Are you sure the game you're talking about is Silent Hill?

You said ash.... That right there shows how bad your biased opinion on this game is, movie is non-canonical. Besides, Silent Hill is getting stale. Homecoming was ... O.K., at best, but stuck to close to the original games and suffered for it. It also didn't help that it tried to force a bigger effort on combat which has never been a series staple. Silent Hill means different things in different games. That includes the Otherworld. Only 1, 3, and 5, prominently have blood and rust.

I believe they said it wasn't a remake that it was an Imagination version of the first game or some shit like that. Regardless of that the game still looks fun to play and story telling still looks creepy as hell.

It is safe to say that most people that are assuming that Shattered Memories will suck and has nothing to do with Silent Hill, dubtlessly NEVER player a SH game or only played Homecoming.

Oh man... There's another trailer similar to this one, but it's from E3. That one featured my idol, Mary McGlynn. When I watched this one, I wondered where she went! D: Dahlia is different in the other video, she looks better with blonde hair. this new vocals sound really clear, with little effects on them, maybe they're just experimenting or changed them at the last minute? If you create your own ideas "maybe like SH Homecoming" then it might be okay, even though SHH was terribly bad. but if you just go and take other`s ideas and ruin them "while claiming it`s a re-imaginination" then it`s a problem.

If it was supposed to replace the original THEN it would be a problem, but since it really dosen't have a single story (it changes acording to how you play it, like everything else) it can't replace SH1 even if it was ment to. At least the guys working on SHSM actually payed atention to the games, unlike those imbecils that go around saying "nO gunz, thiz iz gaaay!!1!!1 Whure are da nursez???"
